I did not receive an email, but have seen others post that they have received an email from Ford confirming their order. I'm worried, because last year when this happened, it was because my dealer did not enter the covp. I've read that COVP is not required now, but I'm wondering if something was not done correctly this time also. Hopefully a survey will help us figure out how many people are or are not receiving emails.

I had an appointment for 1500 Thursday. All my information was taken; DL, X-Plan PIN paperwork. Did the build. Tried to preview, kept getting the swirling circle of death. Long story short, received confirmation email at 0345 16-September.

I have not received my email either but that was because they entered in .com at the end instead of .net. I most likely will never receive one now as I am sure Ford only does it once.

got a phone call early this morning from my dealer ship, saying they put my order in.

Yeah, I will probably verify my email next week. Mine also ends in .net, so it's probably some r like that.

I ordered a '23 at 2:45 p.m. today and received an email from Ford confirming the order at 3:03 p.m.

Tim made a video for members Thursday showing him entering orders. He chooses the order number (for his orders its TxxB where xx is 00-99). But he was not able to Submit, only Save. Later that night he was able to submit and I got the Ford email. Bottom line, the order number is created by the dealer at the time they are typing in the order before it is Submitted. It is not generated by Ford when the order is submitted/accepted. So having a salesguy tell you an order number is not neccessarily proof it was accepted. Not trying to scare you - just point out the process and where order numbers originate. Best to get a dealer printout of the order showing accepted by Ford.

I placed an order today, I offered to come in person but they said they could do it all through e-mail and phone, I received an order form from the dealer with a 4 digit order number (letters and numbers) but have not received an e-mail from Ford yet

I am not sure an order number on a preview order sheet guarantees anything until the dealer actually sends it in(to Ford) with your personal information. The dealer may have just sent you the order sheet to sign, and hasn't loaded the order into webdo yet!
I can't for the life of me understand what a dealer would have to gain by slow rolling or not sending a customers order in! Any ideas on this?

I think another thing that is going on is that the saleperson never entered your email address (or entered an incorrect one). I can see some dealers only entering their email address and not the customer because they want to be the one communicating to you and not want Ford doing it. Go back and read the 2021 threads - lots of people last year didn't get emails either.

I received the Ford Email for my Confirmed Order about 13 hours after the dealer submitted the order.

I was told the order was placed on Thursday by salesman. I don't think it was. Had some communication with sales manager Friday and was told I'd see an email shortly. Then got an email from Ford about an hour later.
