I ordered a 23 XLT, Lux, 360, the first day order banks opened. Now will be delivered in February.
I bought a 23 Lariat, Lux, 360, AWD drive in February because customer bought it and said this isn’t my navigator. With dealer add ons I didn’t want or need except locking bed cover was nice. 39k. I have put on 27,000 miles and use the auto start drive 80mph a lot the speed limit on my Oklahoma drive and mpg has averaged 27.4. I bought is because my car transmission went out and didn’t want to buy something I didn’t want until my order came.
Now I have to decide which one to keep. How does the xlt lux compare to lariat lux? Is it true xlt lux doesn’t have keyless unlock and push button start. I would miss the awd

Just keep your Lariat. If you went XLT Lux you'll be downgrading\missing the rear sliding window, push button, keyless entry, keyless entry pads, radar cruise, pleather interior, laminated glass, B&O sound system and I believe the upgraded instrument cluster.

I have a lariat lux AWD and I love it. Reason I went with lariat lux over an XLT is that the lariat lux was only model that had the reverse sensing system. It also has the copilot 360 so it’s got the adaptive cruise control which I love. I’ve got 29K miles on it now and I’m getting 33.5mpg.

That’s awesome. Mine I drive about 100 miles a day with 85% of it on a 80mph road. When I go on a trip my mileage goes up in the 70mph speed limits. I also sometime leave it running when I go in the store with my dog in it. I bought a back seat dog square cover.

Lariat trim level is only one with factory push button start. You will be losing alot of great features with the XLT Lux. And if most of your driving is hwy at 70-80 mph the hybrid you mention in the thread title is not going to give you the MPG increase ya normally read about - it shines greatly in city driving etc. but not alot of difference on the highway at 70-80 between Ecoboost and Hybrid. I would recommend you keep the MY23 AWD Lariat Lux. Also the MY24 have had some great features removed that are on the MY22/MY23.

I'd keep the Lariat myself.

I think you will also lose the Adaptive Cruise which among other things has the hold mph toggle down to get the five mph steps up or down instead of the standard cruise 1 mph per click.

Push button start is nice, but that reverse sensing system has saved my butt several times. Where it really helps is in parking lot where some huge suv or truck is parked next to me I can easy out a little and it will beep at me if someone is coming down the aisle. Saved me several times as the folks around here fly down those aisles and pay no attention to someone trying to back out of a parking spot. Also great when someone in row behind you doesn’t pull all the way into parking space so it’s tight trying to back out.

I'm kinda going in the opposite direction from you, I have a '23 XLT FX4 Lux which I really like but my '24 Lariat Hybrid is scheduled to be built in another week. I'm going to miss the XLT, but the Lariat Hybrid was what I wanted all along. I have a '23 Bronco so AWD isn't really necessary for me and I wanted the MPG for around town driving, it compliments the Bronco.
I'd agree with most of the other guys, unless you are looking for the MPG keep the Lariat, just has more useful stuff. I've found the 2.0 EB to be a really fun engine, peppy with decent MPG.
