Atlas Blue is pretty sharp as well. I suspect many will miss the more vibrant Velocity though.

Yeah, packaging guide has a few typos. The 2022 guide had some errors as well. The offical order guides seem to be more thoroughly proofread and include all of the requirements.

The black wheels in the Black Appearance Package are different than the FX4 and optional black rims. Definitely look good

No more leather-wrapped steering wheel for Lariat and XLT Luxury. Now it's "soft vinyl" (so ActiveX basically)

Happier with my 22 order yet to be built than the 23 offerings. Black appearance is nice. Velocity Blue is now a limited edition. Good for resale.

They've been switching to the leatherette steering wheels on other models.

2020 Escape had leather-wrapped steering wheels on the higher trims - SE Sport, SEL, Ti. No leatherette wheel available.

2021 and 2022 Escape get leather only on Titanium Elite Pkg with leatherette on SE convenience pkg, SEL, Ti.

Yeah, it's not really surprising. It was always kind of ironic that the Lariat had a "vegan leather" interior.... except for actual leather on the steering wheel.
