I had to go on my computer to play the sound clip. It would not play on my iPad.
Using a MacBook Pro Laptop and can't play any of them.

Looks and sounds good. I really like dual exhaust look or more so I dis-like the look of single exhaust. Thanks for for sharing the pictures and showing how you can accomplish dual exhaust on Maverick. Very cool.

Just sounds like every Focus ST in So cal haha. I guess everyone in here thinks that every truck should have a V8 (I dont disagree), most F150's in CA are 2.7 or 3.5 ecoboosts. With that said, if you have a 5.0 (2wd or 4wd) preferably crewcab F150 Eibach has been looking for one for R&D. We need it for lift kit test fit, as the rest of america loves 5.0 F150's but not so much So Cal lol. Must be local to so cal, and willing to leave it for at least 2 days.

Maybe it's my age (I'm old), but I don't like the sound of that dual exhaust setup. Having said that, the stock engine/exhaust sounds like a whizzing sewing machine.
There's got to be something in-between.

I've learned two things from being on this forum.

(1) There are lots of people who really like to modify their vehicles in various ways.

(2) And then there's me.

Needed to rev that sucker so we can hear what it sounds like when it winds up.

It sounds like any other 4 cyl thats been modded not sure how I feel about it but it's not awful. Might be better than listening to the engine which sounds like a little ticking sewing machine :)

You guys with your Off road fancies should have bough a Ranger or Jeep, the vehicle wasn't designed for it, Dirt roads and snow OK that's it.
Ford literally stamped FX4 OFF ROAD on the side of it. That should have to mean something.

You would think so, last night i took my XL AWD base model to some very loose sandy dunes and to my surprised it did good. i placed it in "slippery mode" and in L. I didnt get stuck. so im sure the FX4 has some meaning. I hope.

Anyone figured a way to route the muffler tips through the bumper, maybe a cutout with a heat shield?

Lol it will never see off-road activities that will require departure angles. I got the 4K tow package along with the all wheel drive for two reasons. 1 tires will wear approximately the same time. 2, you get the increased cooling capacity, bigger cooling fans and transmission cooler which helps greatly in the summer time. Or for those that are worried about departure angles would probably do a lift kit and add much larger tires. But to each his own, right?
I agree, I'd bet 98% of us got the fx4 for looks, underbody protection and beefier parts rather than for going off roading.

Would be nice if it had the low V8 Rumble. It looks very nice though. Where did you get it done?
I wish they would have given it some fake sound like the f150 and mustang exhausts that are "enhanced" through the speakers.
