  1. First to get a Maverick, First to get wrecked 🤷🏾‍♂️

Many of the posters on this thread are forgetting that the Maverick is a unibody truck. With the amount of damage shown on the Dodge there could be considerable damage done to the Maverick's body. The owner won't know unit he gets it inspected. It doesn't 'look' to be anywhere near wrecked...
  2. 2 Driveshaft Bolts for gas tank recall still on backorder

Just picked up my Maverick from the dealer. The gas tank was fine and I got the recall on the electric trailer brake monitor at the same time.
  3. 2 Driveshaft Bolts for gas tank recall still on backorder

Mine's going in on Monday for the gas tank recall and hopefully they can do the re-flash for the electronic brake controller at the same time. Fingers crossed I don't need a new tank. No gas smells even with a full tank.
  4. Should I just get a Ranger?

About a year ago I test drove a Ranger. I liked it, but didn't love it. The one thing that stuck in my mind was the 'pulsing' when driving at 30-40 mph. On my short test drive it was annoying and It ended up being a deal breaker for me. Personally, I'm glad I waited for the Maverick, although...
  5. 2.0 Maverick Straight Pipe Installed w/ Sound Clip

If that's what happens to the weep hole after only 2700 miles then the stock Maverick muffler is one big hunk of sh*t.
  6. Wireless CarPlay for Lariat

I was thinking of order one for my lariat with the lux package, but the number of comments about the amount of lag was enough for me to take a pass for now.
  7. My wife always said I shouldn’t have sold my little blue truck…

I owned a 1982 Datsun pickup many years ago. I really liked that little truck, but boy-oh-boy was it gutless.
  8. My 12345.6 mile review

You realize that the possible hole(s) in the gas tank are on the top....right? ;)
  9. Crazy Canadian Markups

Nothing is inexpensive in Canada anymore.
  10. taking a poll on hood scoop yay or nay ?

A bit 'No' vote for me on a fake hood scoop, but if you really like the look then go for it.
  11. New Subtle Mods for My Maverick Lariat

I came very close to ordering almost identical wheels for my sliver lariat. I ended up ordering a set of dark carbon coloured wheels, but I'll still be very interested in how your wheels look on your upcoming Maverick.
  12. Maverick Lariat all packages

The only words of encouragement is you'll really enjoy your lariat Maverick when you get it. I bought mine off a dealer's lot back in November and so far I've been VERY happy with my lariat. The only option I don't have is the FX4 package.
  13. Flat tow a AWD with it in neutral and the engine idling?

Hybrid Maverick....yes. Eco Boost AWD Maverick....NO.
  14. 2.0L Maverick 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 39 MPG?

I can believe the quicker 0-60 and quarter mile times, but dubious about the high mpg. I do like the dual exhausts pipes, even though they make zero hp gain over a single exhaust pipe system.
  15. Wheres everyone in The Great White North?

I'm pretty sure I've previously posted on this thread, but I don't feel like going through 8 pages to check if I did. Anyways, I wanted to show my new wheels. ;) I bought my aftermarket wheels from an online source in Quebec but they couldn't sell me the TPMS sensors because they couldn't...
  16. ICONIC SILVER Maverick Photos / Club

Finally got my new wheels installed today. Damn, those TPMS sensors are expensive (in Canada) $376 for four. o_O The wheels re Fast FC09 Metallic Gunmetal 18x8, with a 45mm offset. Each wheels weighs 19.2 pounds The tires are the stock Michelins that come with the lariat.
  17. ICONIC SILVER Maverick Photos / Club

I like your new Voxx wheels. (y) I also think that black wheels don't look their best on a silver coloured vehicle. Having said that, after a lot of internet searching I finally settled on a set of dark charcoal coloured aftermarket wheels. I like the design, and at 19.2 pounds for an 18"...
  18. did my first oil change... what a PITA...trick

The oil (and engine) should always be warm when changing the oil.
  19. Disappointed in tailgate assist.

Just this morning I was thinking of order a tailgate assist from my local Ford dealer's parts department, but after reading the above posts I think I'll take a pass, until this product gets sorted out properly.
