Many of the posters on this thread are forgetting that the Maverick is a unibody truck. With the amount of damage shown on the Dodge there could be considerable damage done to the Maverick's body. The owner won't know unit he gets it inspected.
It doesn't 'look' to be anywhere near wrecked...
Mine's going in on Monday for the gas tank recall and hopefully they can do the re-flash for the electronic brake controller at the same time.
Fingers crossed I don't need a new tank. No gas smells even with a full tank.
About a year ago I test drove a Ranger. I liked it, but didn't love it. The one thing that stuck in my mind was the 'pulsing' when driving at 30-40 mph. On my short test drive it was annoying and
It ended up being a deal breaker for me.
Personally, I'm glad I waited for the Maverick, although...
I was thinking of order one for my lariat with the lux package, but the number of comments about the amount of lag was enough for me to take a pass for now.
I came very close to ordering almost identical wheels for my sliver lariat.
I ended up ordering a set of dark carbon coloured wheels, but I'll still be very interested in how your wheels look on your upcoming Maverick.
The only words of encouragement is you'll really enjoy your lariat Maverick when you get it.
I bought mine off a dealer's lot back in November and so far I've been VERY happy with my lariat. The only option I don't have is the FX4 package.
I can believe the quicker 0-60 and quarter mile times, but dubious about the high mpg.
I do like the dual exhausts pipes, even though they make zero hp gain over a single exhaust pipe system.
I'm pretty sure I've previously posted on this thread, but I don't feel like going through 8 pages to check if I did.
Anyways, I wanted to show my new wheels. ;)
I bought my aftermarket wheels from an online source in Quebec but they couldn't sell me the TPMS sensors because they couldn't...
Finally got my new wheels installed today. Damn, those TPMS sensors are expensive (in Canada)
$376 for four. o_O
The wheels re Fast FC09 Metallic Gunmetal 18x8, with a 45mm offset.
Each wheels weighs 19.2 pounds
The tires are the stock Michelins that come with the lariat.
I like your new Voxx wheels. (y)
I also think that black wheels don't look their best on a silver coloured vehicle. Having said that, after a lot of internet searching I finally settled on a set of dark charcoal coloured aftermarket wheels.
I like the design, and at 19.2 pounds for an 18"...
Just this morning I was thinking of order a tailgate assist from my local Ford dealer's parts department, but after reading the above posts I think I'll take a pass, until this product gets sorted out properly.
