Holy cow haha I said brakes and turns because it’s most likely the same socket. Of course brakes wouldn’t need it
It is definitely the same socket. I don't know if there will be an easy solution for the brake lights due to this. The non-hyperflash bulbs for turn signals in other cars cannot be ran continuously, they will overheat after 7 minutes of continuous usage. This works fine for cars with separate turn signals but obviously not for the Maverick. Halogen brake/turn might just have to be accepted unless a supplier makes a high quality, entire tail light unit replacement.

Diode Dynamics will probably have a solution once they test a Maverick

Following up now that it has been a couple weeks. Reverse lights still working without any problems? no error codes or anything? I'm getting ready to order the bulbs.

I would order these but By the time I get my truck the warranty on them will expire and they may not fit the 2023.

Just to confirm, you haven't replaced the TAIL lights, just the reverse lights, right? Looking to replace the factory incandescent bulbs with LED eventually, but didn't want to have CANBUS errors. (I know resistors are sometimes needed)

Correct, I've been told that LED's would work for brake, turn , and reverse. Only thing I was worried about was getting more light while backing up. The reverse lights were the only ones that I replaced.

As you may have noticed, the 2022 Ford Maverick is a relatively new vehicle. With that being the case, not all vendors have matched the 2022 Ford Maverick to their products. As I've stated in this thread, there have been quite a few members that have purchased this set and installed them with no issues.
When ordering parts for my 2010 PT Cruiser, some things would fit 2009 but not 2010 (identical). Always assumed the range wasn't updated. Same with Maverick...the main thing I found with bulbs is the base. It has to plug in to work...912 vs. 1157 for example.
