Using the info from this thread I have successfully installed the cruise control switches on my stock XL steering wheel and programmed everything in forscan. Everything is working as intended!

Can someone tell me the codes that I need to get the limiter to work with these switches? If not, can someone please tell me what the best ones are for it to work the cruise without it? I have a XL plan, the only add was the hitch. Thank you in advance!

Did you ever find anyone? I’m also in Las Vegas area.
I finally received my Maverick in September, and to my surprise, the unit I ordered had Cruze Control included.

The SCCM for the left steering wheel turn stalk has 4 known good settings depending on the following features.
There are 2 different left steering wheel turn stalks used on Mavericks. 1 without the lane assist button used on builds w/o copilot 360 and 2 with the lane assist button used on builds w/ copilot 360.

W/O CC and W/ CP360

W/O CC and W/O CP360

Maverick2022XL, thanks for the excellent thread and write-up.

If the above is true, perhaps update the first page? I believe the fourth post has the opposite information (assuming you mean CP360 implies lane keep and w/o CP360 implies w/o lane keep:

I wrote that backwards. I've edited the post to be correct.

Hello :) I did the cruise control to my bare-bones XL ecoboost .... works great! however...

While installing the buttons; I did not disconnect the battery first - kinda screwed myself by not doing so. Now the computer knows that I disconnected my airbag, and my airbag light won't turn off...

FORScan is giving me RCM codes - B0001:1A-6D and B0002:1A-6D both of which say "circuit resistance below threshold"

Send help :cry::cry:

Obviously you have access to Forscan since you were able to add CC. You should be able to reset all the CEL issues thru Forscan. Based on the error message, it sounds like it could be a connection on one of the airbag wires. You may have to recheck your installation of the airbag after disconnecting the battery this time.

Jazzed, ty - the connections were good, but disconnecting the battery was key. I tried resetting the DTC for that module and it wasn't going away. So I disconnected the negative terminal and reconnected it, and ran the scan again and yay zero codes and no warning lights on the dash :D

Good news and I am sure you are jazzed. It gets worrisome when issues like this arise. I am glad it was not worse and now you can enjoy the CC without regret.

I finally got around to doing this modification today. I had the buttons for a few weeks before I got the truck.

Airbag removal, bezel removal, and button changing or on par with any other steering wheel I've ever worked on, if not easier.

Forescan programming was very straightforward with no errors.

As soon as my tailgate actuator gets here, my upgrade to an XLT will be complete!

Now what do I do with the stock buttons? Is there any market for these?
