It loses a lot in the first hour.
But obviously doesn't keep up that rate if it's 11.8 the next day.
Thank you for doing these measurements. But to find out what's doing it, that's the big question now.

Two or three people have reported swapping the 12v battery for a higher grade brand name battery solved everything.

While I think Ford SHOULD pay, it may be simplest solution to just buy a better battery.

There's still a chance the truck is fine and just a bunch of crappy 12v batteries went into Mavericks.
Has anyone posted. The exact name/mdel number. Of any of these after market batteries mentioned? I will pay for one if it solves the annoying deep sleep notifications

Without having gone through 13 pages of stuff, I thought I read some that Ford was changing out batteries how would you check to see if yours is worth changing out because mine goes into sleep usually within a couple hours of using it.

I got my first app notification of deep sleep about 90 mins ago. Under 1000 miles on odometer.

Normally I drive about every 2-3 days or so. It's been six since the last trip which I imagine contributed quite a bit. This time of year I don't even use the fan, let alone the A/C so I've consistently been seeing 45+ mpg with the occasional 52ish driving mostly city miles. No complaints there! Not sure if that indicates a high charge or a low one when it gets parked but I'd lean toward low because I usually get all electric on the residential approach home. (Yes - I know it's a different battery but I assume electric driving leaves limited available capacity to recharge the 12v. Is it the other way around?)

Also possibly contributing is the fact that I normally leave it locked. The last few days it's been unlocked to allow easy tailgate access.

Initial thoughts at this stage: could be expected behavior under the circumstances but will watch it closely. It's still early in our relationship after all.

Brought my car in today for oil change and tire rotation. Told them my car kept going into deep sleep mode. They replaced the battery said that it was low voltage after they charged the battery. Hopefully it gets me through winter

Please let follow up with us on this post and let us know if you get your problem resolved. Your issue sounds very similar to mine, although my issues took a few months to manifest.
I have taken two steps to remediate the problem.

First, I deleted the app from my phone. Perhaps the constant attempts to make contact were using power.

Second, I started locking the truck. Perhaps locking the truck (even though I feel silly doing so) will trigger the "power down" sequence for those items that use power.

Since taking these two actions, I have not had any further dead battery issues.

Apparently this is an important step. One person was having deep sleep all the time, leaving it unlocked. Dealership told them the truck never fully goes into standby if you don't lock it. Started locking it and it improved after they started locking the vehicle.

The first few times I had it happen to me was when I did not lock the truck while at the clients home. Once I stopped doing that deep sleep happened less often.

Make sure to turn off Fordpass stuff on the truck itself, not just disabling the app.

Thank you - that is good advice. I need to turn off the Fordpass functionality on the truck.

It seems crazy to have to lock the truck, but the locking process clearly does trigger the power off sequence. And the least expensive vehicle in the garage is locked.

Well, my Maverick is now starting to fall into Deep Sleep mode, which began to occur during early Fall.

At first, it would only pop up a few times, but by September, it has become more consistent and now, whenever I go to FordPass, I couldn't use any function on the app.

One thing I notice is that even though I drive the truck almost daily, as soon as I turn off the truck, the voltage jumps down to 12.1v and drops pretty fast to 11.9v, which will trigger Deep Sleep. I'm leaning towards replacing the battery because it shouldn't really drop that quick, and I have a cigarette adapter that displays the voltage. It held a pretty steady voltage in the summer, but now, it barely holds the voltage.

I'm posting in near real-time here.

NOTHING is turned on besides the scanner. It takes trivial power over Cat5 ethernet cable. 4 amps would burn it up. Yet here I am sitting in a parked locked car. Losing 12v battery charge.

This is really great findings. Wondering if it's possible to share with Ford Engineering Dept?

I did those things. It changed nothing for my truck.

I see this too.
But since the 12v only runs some computers and relays, and the 220v battery actually starts the engine, Ford won't replace it. A weak battery is "good enough" for the computers. Until the day it isn't.

I think if the 12v battery were to go dead, it wouldn't start the truck?

The starter battery in a traditional car needs lots of "cranking amps". Lots of current.

Computers and relays need very little current. A camera battery at proper voltage would probably get the Maverick Hybrid started, since very little 12v current is needed.

IF THE VOLTAGE is too low, correct. The truck will not start. Due to the sensitivity of the electronics, the hybrid may be even more susceptible to a deficit of voltage, while a traditional car is more affected by lack of current.
