Has anyone in Canada gotten the battery recall to change to an AGM? (25S02) Still dealing with deep sleep (thankfully just cabin lights) but i don’t want to buy an AGM out of pocket if it should be replaced under warranty.
It’s definitely in America.
Yes I’m hoping it’s not totalled! Underneath looks fine.
the panels at the left tail are bent but it’s mostly the tailgate.
I also appreciate the advice here on totalling it, etc but if insurance, dealership, and body shop confirm if it is repairable (and safe) after frame and mech check, I...
Rear ended by a douchbag jeep weaving through the roads… Wife and daughter are fine. Frame seems ok and it actually looks like the tailgate is the thing that took the main hit because of the height of the jeep….look at that damn jeep tho..just some paint scuff.
I get that squeak too and dealer said that was normal, which sounds a little bit unbelievable since I dont hear that with other hybrids. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
To those who don't notice the sound, it's most noticeable when you're driving more slowly with the windows open and going...

GOOD and specific to us Mav ppl:
"NHTSA is investigating if Ford's April recall of about 456,000 Bronco Sport and Ford Maverick vehicles over a loss of power stemming...
Does anyone have the Elevate Rack CS installed with the Bak Revolver X2(factory hard roll up)?
I want to see how the tonneau sits at the tailgate and how many gaps there are because the cover is lifted with this rack install. I’m worried about the additional water intrusion.
Otherwise, curious...
hey Joel!
I know this was posted a while ago but wanted to see how the rack is holding up?
also, I believe you have the X2 hard roll up tonneau. Could you show me how it sits when the tailgate is closed? My concern is that this rack system elevates the hard roll up which means the cover is...
I've noticed that there's some slight jerk too when engine starts up and is idling but it goes away after warming up. Please keep me posted if you discover anything.
how often are you supposed to replace wiper blades? Received mine July '22. Didn't think I'd need to replace them that soon because its not like I use the blades daily.
Is it only me but are the windshield wipers or motor poor quality?
They wipers tend to skip/rattle along the surface sometimes and make a lot of noise when being used.
I'm wondering if anyone got some better improvements by changing the wiper or having the motor replace (i've heard that some...
When you're accessing the tire at the side of the road (or somewhere remote), I think getting fluid film and other lubricants on your hands are least of your worries. The key is having the cable not seizing up. It would be worse to have to get your truck on a flatbed simply because your spare...
yes for sure I plan on spraying some lubricant (WD40 silicone spray and fluid film) when I lower to service. I'm just surprised it's not a popular option for a cover for your underside spare.
[note: this likely only applies more to those living in areas that experience Winter]
I know that the spare tire lifespan is usually not a huge issue but seeing if anyone is doing anything to mitigate the deterioration of the rim due to salt, etc.
-What I plan on doing is annually, clean...
2 years ownership, 2 batteries for the hybrid...good times. I've done all the recalls (cable overlay, etc) that would relate to this. Truck even spent 1 week at the dealer to only have engineering department say to just replace the battery at the end when nothing else worked. Feels like it's...
This was at SEMA. Looks pretty amazing but not sure how it'll hold up in winter. Whoever gets it, please post your review!

So my truck used to go right into deep sleep/battery saver mode right after I turned off the car. It was almost instant. I've done every TSB/Recall related to the battery already and fortunately, I've never had a no-start situation, just the inconvenience of no cabin lights. Did you do all...
so just an update:
After 2 weeks in the shop, the engineering department's final recommendation was to replace the battery again (2nd battery in 2 years). The instant deep sleep has disappeared for now so I really do think it's battery related (i did all the wiring harness/cable overlay...
