First, you need a non-Ford AGM battery with a greater capacity to help solve the deep sleep mode. Other things, such as changing the charge level of 80% to 95% would also help.

That is my dealers job to do, they take good care of me and it is out of their pocket. That is why I have an extended warranty

Haven’t had any deep sleep issues so far (almost a year old). But I also have all the connectivity stuff turned off, and uninstalled Ford Pass.

Appears the new updated app or server changes have fixed the problem. I have a 2021 Escape PHEV and 2023 Maverick hybrid and both have stopped going into the deep sleep mode since updating the app.

I just did this. Battery somehow passed but kept dropping to 38% SOC. After months of fighting with the truck, I put a new battery in for customer. No more deep sleep!

Much ado about nothing. Thank you, "deep sleep" (battery saver) mode, for properly minding the battery. I haven't changed a single thing and refuse to do so. Use to get a deep sleep message every 3-4 weeks. Never bothered me in the least. This year I hardly ever get them. Finally got one camping over the weekend for the first time since Jan.

Yup....I can vouch for the no more deep sleep mode! And I can vouch for the technician who tirelessly diagnosed the problem and solved it once for all!

Also, I am not sure if its related but I do notice the regen gauge maxes out in green when braking. The gas mileage is way better than it has been and I am getting more electric miles in both local and highway driving.

Did the dealer replace your battery with another Ford battery? Is the new battery an AGM battery?

My 3 month old '24 Lariat Hybrid has been getting the Deep Sleep warnings since almost day 1 with no rhyme or reason as to when. Sometimes hours after driving 150 miles (plenty of time to charge the 12V) and sometimes a week after not driving. After the first 8 weeks of this, I started keeping the key fob in one of those Faraday bags (blocks communication) and no more Deep Sleep.... until two days ago when it occurred again (bummer). So I'm back on the forum looking for info. I have been keeping a log of daily trips (miles) and (manually) tracking the battery voltage to be ready for a trip to the dealer at some point. I really need to invest in an automated voltage monitor/logger to make the record keeping easier. I really don't care about the deep sleep (except for losing cabin lights), I'm just worried that I will end up stuck in the woods at some point.

2022 XLT, original stock battery. After having the latest recalls done a few weeks ago, I charged the battery, then performed the battery reset procedure, no more deep sleep modes since then...

Did the dealer replace your battery with another Ford battery? Is the new battery an AGM battery?

It's a Motorcraft MAX, 470 cranking amps and manufacture date of 1-10-24. They installed it in late Feb. or early March.

Do you get pinged by Ford Pass 2 minutes after each drive that your Maverick is in Deep Sleep Mode? Cabin lights don’t turn on when you get into car at night? Intelligent Access unlock doesn’t work on passenger side? … My CT dealer was able to finally fix this after 9 months with this persistent Deep Sleep Mode issue on my ‘22 Hybrid Lariat… here is the tech write up.. ask your dealer to perform these steps… my truck battery saver/deep sleep problems are GONE!

This is helpful. So, did they do anything else other than replace the battery? I always get the stock "Deep sleep is to protect the battery . . . you need to drive the truck more often" dealer rhetoric.
