Could you provide the Etsy link? I’d like to see how that one looks. I’m building a RAM mount that will fit in the tray behind the 8” screen that I’ll be able to attach 2 RAM mounts to it with magnetic chargers & am looking to mount 1 more to the top underside of the cubby with 3M tape that will still allow use of the cubby for storing Tic Tacs or whatever.
I’ll post pics when I get to making it…

I'm not sure you'd have enough room and every garage door opener is different - this is kinda my 5 minute KISS solution. I keep my garage door opener velcro'd to the flat space between the sunglasses storage compartment and the rear view mirror personally.

My current vehicles have them built in, but on a old one I did the same thing but to the backside of the rear-view mirror. Just open it by feel.

Use velcro and mount it to the top of the cubby and you can still press the button while preserving a lot of the space of the cubby for other junk.

I think I grossly over- estimated the size of a "pocket notebook." I was trying for a passport- sized one, or one of the little ones with the spiral on top like my wife keeps in her purse.

This looks more like it'd hold a baby Moskeline.

These are awesome! Thank you! I bought a Creality CS-6E (or something like that) in anticipation of the FITS stuff and it turns out it’s hard to come across files out there. I’m going to print some of these and will post the results!

On the bottom there is a little flat block you can attach one of those little 3m cable grabbers to if you want to run a cable like in the picture on my thingiverse.

I also did the spacer and I love it. I love how it says Ford on it. Really nice work my dude! Now all I need is the truck!

I was looking for a way to store Flash Drives in the cubby. Heard about a 6-block holder on eBay from this Forum, and bought 2 to try them out. Not a good fit in the cubby, but 2 fit good together in the lower console. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293745193393?var=592539598225

I got a look at the notebook holder as it was printing, and caught what looks like a fatal problem with the geometries. Just uploaded a new version that should be way stronger.

At some point, probably later this week or this weekend, I'll see about getting one for the smaller notebooks I was actually thinking about.

Still, the big one could be useful if someone takes their Maverick out into the field with certain kinds of data notebooks that I've seen at Barnes lately. Hydrologic and geologic stuff. But I'd imagine they'd probably have something more like an F-150 if they're going out into that kind of terrain? Something that can handle boulders larger than my first car?

Got it off the printer a few minutes ago. Most of the supports came out clean, except for a few spots due to the bottom having a bevel. And for some reason, Cura keeps putting supports in the pen cavities. Dunno what's up with that. I can't remove them (yet) because I don't have long enough needlenose pliers.

Feels like 80% infill is a lot too solid.. Might to with 40% or so next time.

Bottom pic shows where the point of failure was. Part of the structure wasn't tying in very well, and I got concerned it could stress and break. Although now that I'm holding it in my hand, I really don't think that's likely over the short term.

For the blank itself, the FORD letters somehow needed their own support, and did *not* come off clean. If I put these up on Etsy, I'm going to replace them with an inlaid logo instead of an embossed one.

I've been working on some enhancements / tweaks to existing designs to suit them to my purposes and recently added a few custom ones (FITS slot for the cubby, HAM Radio stand). I'm currently working on a semi-generic phone holder for my work phone and some on the door FITS slots for holding a flashlight, glass breaker, etc.

If you've got any ideas, please share and I will take a crack at them!
