  1. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

Little fuel mileage update for the last 2500 miles since getting these
  2. There has to be an easier way for side markers…

Donā€™t worry, the paint is so thin, first time you drive it on the highway thereā€™s gonna be chips all over it. Iā€™m on my second touch up pen šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  3. There has to be an easier way for side markers…

I did both with this method. Relatively simple (I used 2 tools, one to work it forward and another to slip in from the back side and pry it out).
  4. There has to be an easier way for side markers…

I just used this method. I taped it off with 2 layers of blue painters tape and stuck a folded paper towel in the gap with the same tool in this video and it didnā€™t hurt the paint at all
  5. There has to be an easier way for side markers…

Thanks. Iā€™ve spent a couple hours trying to change these and just went and did it in 5 mins. šŸ˜‚ ask me how dumb I feel for not finding this video earlier
  6. There has to be an easier way for side markers…

Does anyone know of an easier way to access the side marker bulbs? Iā€™ve tried reaching in from the top, no dice. Dropped the panel underneath and canā€™t reach them. Same with the wheel well liner. I canā€™t reach them from any of them without some disassembly. Does anyone have an easy method to...
  7. What's your Maverick mileage and ownership time?

2022ā€¦ purchased February 2022 with 14 miles on it. Iā€™m at 52k miles give or take.
  8. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

Not really. The tires are a little louder because of the tread pattern difference but not enough to be annoying. I turned the radio volume up 1 more number from where I used to and you donā€™t hear it at all šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  9. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

2.0L EB. Itā€™s actually a little better after getting back to my normal highway routine. 27.7 mpg (I averaged 28.5 before).
  10. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

Iā€™m cheap so I ran them till I picked up a screw (tread life is still decent on them). Couldā€™ve plugged it but I donā€™t like riding around on a plug because Iā€™m 90% interstate driving
  11. OXFORD WHITE Maverick Photos / Club

Cleaned the Oxford White XL up today and wanted to post with the new wheels and tires I ended up deciding on. Enkei Overlanders in matte bronze with BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires in 245/65R17 No rubbing or scrubbing with stock suspension. Iā€™m still averaging 27 mpg (thatā€™s with the tan...
  12. Factory MudFlap Broke off… replacement panels and where to find?

Fairly easy install. Thereā€™s 2 rocker panel retainers and 2 push in buttons that hold the panel in place. Also has 6 push in retainers on the back side (you will break them removing it, or I did). The new part comes with everything but the 2 push in buttons (one near the front of the piece on...
  13. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

Updated the pics after cleaning it up a little (and replacing the mudflap that had broken off lol)
  14. Factory MudFlap Broke off… replacement panels and where to find?

Part # for the driverā€™s side panel (the one I had broken off). The mudflap is separate from this. I just got this at the parts counter
  15. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

I went with them cause Iā€™ve always liked BFGā€™s. I had intentions all along of when I hit 50k miles to replace the stock steelies. I made it there and went with it
  16. Enkei Overlander wheels + BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 245/65R17 on Maverick XL EcoBoost

  17. Maverick Bed Cover water intrusion into the bed

Donā€™t have a bed cover but I can tell you my SofTopper cover I have hasnā€™t leaked one drop into the bed (Iā€™ve had it since last spring but I didnā€™t leave it on all the time. I put it on this past October though and itā€™s been on the truck since then). Only complaint I have for it, really, is...
  18. Trying to decide on new wheels/tires and fit

The offset on the Zephyr is 25 where the Weld is 38 which is close to what I found for factory offset (between 30 and 39 depending on which factory wheel). Thatā€™s why I was considering the Weld. I was assuming matching something in the factory offset range would work without scrubbing.
  19. Trying to decide on new wheels/tires and fit

Iā€™m down to 2 wheels and tires looking at Custom Offsets and was curious if anyone had tried either on a Mav with no lift or leveling and had success with no scrubbing Iā€™m down to the 2 wheels and same BFG tire. Iā€™ve seen several with the Fifteen52 Metrix but not this model and havenā€™t seen any...
  20. Windshield replacement with Co-Pilot 360

Sheeshā€¦ priced the glass todayā€¦ $630 installed for Ford glass (itā€™s $20 more than aftermarket glass) thru the windshield guy I use. Been a while since Iā€™ve had to put a windshield in a vehicle but I remember it was $280 for GM glass in my wifeā€™s old vehicleā€¦ Why did glass go up so much? Lol...
