Thanks for the post, I have reach out to six different people making these 3d-printed items and for some reason no one seems to want to make one like the picture I posted. Maybe it`s too difficult for them to make. I`ll keep looking.

Probably a size issue. They certainly make 3D printers that big, but your bog standard 250 dollar model probably doesn't have a large enough bed.

I just bought a spool of PETG orange that I plan to use for some stuff I'm working on (cubby insert, cup holder bottom plate). However, I'm not done modeling yet (I'll say it again - Whoever specced out the dash cubby was a dick) and I'm using a shared printer. I'll make a note here to measure out print bed when my own stuff is ready - I'll contact you and see if you've had any luck yet if I can manage something that large.

"Prusa orange" is quite a popular color in the 3d printing world. I cant wait to get my Mav so I can actually put my 3D printer to use for something other than printing parts for my 3D printer...

Thanks man I'm gonna add my tinkercad link to my original post so you can mess with the model dimensions to fit your radio. It's pretty simple - just a series of boxes.

I've been using Hatchbox Orange PETG in a lot of these prints - brighter than the orange in the truck but am going to try a few more to see how close of a match I can get to do "final" polished heaver infill prints of everything.

I agree - if you don't have a 3d printer, don't want to tinker with dimensions, and want something high quality the Etsy shops are good

I'm currently working on a semi-generic phone holder for my work phone and some on the door FITS slots for holding a flashlight, glass breaker, etc.

If you've got any ideas, please share and I will take a crack at them!

I would like to find a container for change to fit in the cubby that looks just like a matching plate on the outside and it just slides in and out of the cubby. nothing fancy Judy a cubby cup to throw small stuff in.

Stowing the phone in the provided phone tray is kind of annoying, at least for me. The tray isn't long enough so the phone ends up being propped up by the USB connector (Bad for the cable and bad for the port on the phone) and the USB cable itself ends up coiling in and out of the cup holders and in the area of the knob shifter. Hanging the phone solves a lot of those issues.
