I bought the 2.0 ECO with AWD, that’s based on a proven platform. Since the EV is a relatively new platform, there could be some minor, hidden gremlins.

Funny but the only thing I was disappointed in was sound quality of the radio. The Ridgeline is a nice vehicle but about $10K more where I live, bigger (a negative for me) and from reports: gets about 10 MPG less than I average with my AWD EB. Still, I can see the Ridgeline being a better fit for some.
Really depends on how you drive. Ridgeline is rated for 24 on the highway and I'm getting 28 (my drive to work is all highway). I was getting 32 highway on the maverick. I'm using about an extra 5 or so gallons of gas a month. At $3-4 a gallon, the extra $15-$30 bucks a month was worth it for the comfort and more pleasurable driving experience. It was also the right deal at the right time for me. Went from a 22 XLT to a 21 RTL-E with 10,000 more miles for not much more money. Hope you don't see my list as bashing the Maverick. I think it will push other car makers to go back to producing compact trucks (and that's a good thing).

Yes new car have problems and the garage at dealership has warranty obligations, but
it just takes so darn long for repairs and parts.
I got my van tranny rebuilt in and out in 2 days.
Is it just the dealers have so many cars in line for repairs.
If they give a loaner and they should for any new car needing fixed then its not so bad

The hybrid platform has been around for donkey years, it's basically the same as the Escape. I think the Maverick has a new type of electric motor.

The 2.5L atkinson hybrid platform was introduced by Ford a year before the 2L ecoboost was. These posts about picking the ecoboost because of its proven track-record (compared to the hybrid) are "interesting".

I have one of the first batch of truck and had the 12v battery problem and the recall. But overall for the crazy market right now, I can tolerate those problems to have a truck with great mpg and value. It already make more money for me than it’s worth so I can’t complain. Get it while you can

I am getting to order a 2023 Maverick and I am getting concerned about all the issues I am reading about. Anyone want to chime in and make me feel more confident about my potential purchase? How many of you are sorry you bought the vehicle.
I am one of the lucky ones with a 22 Maverick. AWD , XLT. The absolute best vehicle I have ever had. Ecstatic!

Before you do sound deadning, tap on the outside door skin, real hollow ting..after the inside is done retap on outside of door. Major difference, i want to do the rear quarters as well this winter.

Will do the inner wheel wells as well, cause tire noise is the next priority.

I want to get the Mav on my loft and do some aluminized under the cab by firewall and tunnel.

Just a little mass on the outer door panel by the speakers will keep the tunes from the speakers in the cab, huge difference!

When you sound deadning you get 3 things in return: thermal insulation heat/cool inside cab is more efficient, sound quality in cab increases, cab noise is lowered.

If you have good speakers it will wake them up! Probably best mod for the buck.
What material did you use?

Well? Feel better? Are you going to order one? Mine should be coming up here soon and I'm looking forward to it. Can't wait. No remorse.

I ordered a 2022 Lariat with every option at $39,239 out the door.I ordered 6/15/21 and received 7/19/22.I worked at dealership as a salesman until 2009.I was told to remove options and might get it sooner, but I did not and am very pleased with my truck.I plan to order a Tremor when order books are open again with every option.

I've had mine since April and have no remorse at all. (hybrid lariat) I love my maverick so much every time I get in to drive it. There are a coue minor annoyances, but that doesn't change how I feel about it as a whole.

I love my '22 Maverick! I was lucky, someone ordered it and backed out and as a result, I got it. I'm coming up on 12K miles and have enjoyed each mile. Mine is an XLT Hybrid.

Just returned from a road trip with my 22 Hybrid, have a little over 7,000 miles on it. Consistently beat EPA mileage figures, picked the XL trim with few options. So no buyers remorse from me complaints, two. The infotainment Android Auto doesn't interface with my phone well, and it doesn't appear to be my phone, or cable. Just a buggy system. The stock tires, like most anymore are not something to write home about. Life's a gamble live it the way you want.

I’ve decided to sell my Maverick, having too many quality issues with it. It randomly shifted into neutral yesterday while taking a turn and has been having weird random harsh shifts in low gears. Radio freezing and carplay randomly not working also is a deal breaker for me. Ford techs cant do much with those issues since Ford cheaped out and didnt put in the APIM module for the XL/XLTs so the only way to update the unit is via wifi.

Also I work second shift in the city and the truck is hard to find street parking for when coming home.

I really love this truck overall but I am going to sell while the value is still somewhat high.

If ford comes out with a hybrid AWD in the future I will definitely look at them again. Getting it appraised via carmax tomorrow and planning my next move.
