I've had mine since April and have no remorse at all. (hybrid lariat) I love my maverick so much every time I get in to drive it. There are a coue minor annoyances, but that doesn't change how I feel about it as a whole.
Any update for you? My build date is the week of Feb 14 so I'm assuming it'll be here in March. I saw Penske Ford had 2 mavs on the lot (ecoboost models) each with a 5k markup. Was nice to see the car in person finally
Finally!

They were really nice there. I dealt with Mark Webb and he was nice and didn't seem pushy or annoying at all. He didn't know as much about the truck as I had hoped but I tend to over research things.
Also agree that the color looks much different in person. I saw a CG ranger the other day and a CG bronco today and I really like it. I was a bit nervous about switching from alto blue but seeing it in person makes me really excited and happy I went with CG.
This pic was all I needed to know. Looks like even 29ers fit just fine too. I have a Santa Cruz Bronson carbon and transport this way with my old ranger no problems. (usually driving 100+ miles to get to the downhill park) I'm curious what tailgate pads will fit the maverick.
Gas in my state is currently $4.50/gal. The savings is not miniscule. I honestly don't care about what's better for the environment, I need a vehicle that I can afford the gas for. I think it's pretty ignorant to assume people are virtue signaling becaue they are buying a hybrid.
That being...
I enjoy the colors of the lariat interior. I think it looks a lot nicer than just plain black. I'm really glad that I upgraded to the lariat and also that I went with cactus gray
I changed my order from alto blue to cactus gray. I've had a black car for the past 13 years and wanted a change. I think I'd have been happy either way. I think one reason I switched is because I like the contrast of the plastic parts with a light color. With alto you lose that contrast
Definitely not. Very big here in Socal to carry refillable water bottles. Staying hydrated is important /a healthy habit.
My wife and I always have a refillable bottle so I really like this feature
I'll probably just keep things like ratchet straps and bungie cords in there so I really won't worry about theft since there will be nothing valuable inside
Switched my order yesterder from XLT in Alto Blue to Lariat in Cactus Gray. I think I made the right choice. I've driven a black car since 2009 so it'll be a nice change.
I paint for a living and need a truck but nothing big since I only haul paint buckets and sometimes ladders. On the weekends/off days I want to take my mountain bike to the bike park as well as go surfing. I don't need a truck that gets 15mpg so this car will be perfect. Last car I bought new...
