Glad I got old and qualified for a handicapped sticker. Lots of space, but every now and then you get an old jerk that still canāt park in the center of a double sized space or is too lazy to store a cart properly. Life goes on, I suppose.
Changed my oil at 2800 miles and recorded it on my Ford acct. Switched to Penzoil full synthetic with a Ford oil filter. Will change oil/filter every 7500 miles going forward. Easy job and I know itās done right.
Getting ready to bring my Maverick in to the dealer for some warranty work. Have a rattle in the dash and the driver corner front bumper has pulled away from the body. Looks like a retainer in the plastic bumper has failed or popped out. Have 1200 pampered miles on the truck. Anybody else have...
Liking my 2022 XL AWD Mav so far. Outside of a rattle in the dash near the display, I have no real complaints at 2K miles. It handles well and zips right along.
My Maverick XL, AWD, EB with stock Continental tires is very quiet. Only complaint I have is an annoying rattle at 50+ mph coming from the the screen display area. When I drop it off for the side air bag recall Iāll have them fix the rattle. I donāt care if they have to rip the entire dash out...
I have the XL, EB 2.0 with AWD. Canāt say that I miss the cruise control and the door mirrors only need to be adjusted once. The AWD gives you the IRS, which makes for a much better ride than the FWD version. Iām getting 29.5 mpg around town and limited highway driving. For $27K out the door...
I went with the EB 2.0 because I wanted AWD and IRS. Iām averaging 29.5 mpg around town after putting 1000 miles on it. Iāve got some camping trips coming up, so the AWD will be put to use. The IRS results in a very comfortable ride, which I appreciate at my age. My other vehicle is a 2022...
I bought the 2.0 ECO with AWD, thatās based on a proven platform. Since the EV is a relatively new platform, there could be some minor, hidden gremlins.
Took delivery of my XL AWD Maverick a couple of weeks ago here in Bluffton. Extremely satisfied with overall buying experience at the O.C. Welch dealership here. Loving everything about this Maverick.
My XL AWD is one smooth ride at any speed. I try not to spool up the turbo too often in order to get the good mpg. Averaging 29 mpg combined, which Iām a liking.
I installed Fordās modular drop in bed liner cause I like to protect the bed when hauling stuff. Had a spray on bed liner on one of my Tacos, but didnāt like the looks.
Itāll be worth the wait. I got mine about 3 weeks after the build date. I wanted AWD with the IRS so I got the 2.0 turbo by default. My other vehicle is a Corolla hybrid that averages 55 mpg, so I tend to use that more often than the Maverick.
Got 355 miles on the Maverick and everything is working fine. Filled her up with 93 octane at Costco and calculated 29.2 mpg vs 28.3 mpg on the dash. Been driving in town mostly with one 40 mile highway trip. Very happy with mpg and expect 32-35 mpg on the highway. At 3000 miles Iāll be...
Installed a Ford Truxedo soft, roll up tonneau cover on my XL AWD Mav today. Took about an hour to install cause Iām an old dude. They lost my first one but overnighted another one. Kudos for Ford. Iām really liking the fit and latching mechanism. Iāve had a few tonneau covers in the past, but...
I went with AWD because I wanted an independent rear suspension for a comfy ride and more traction. If you drive sensibly, 28-30 mpg is easy to achieve with the 2.0 ECO and 8 speed automatic. Iād say go with the hybrid if youāre looking for a commuter type vehicle and mpg is important over...
3 year old cars are going for same price as new around here. Looked at dealer and said put me on the list for a new car. On the other hand, they are giving good money for trade ins. Crazy stuff.
