Zero regrets. I live in the city and no need for 4WD. If I needed it that badly, I would have not purchased what I purchased. Happy with what I have.

I already sold my 23 Hybrid because I need a truck with AWD and 4k towing package to replace my F150. I need a car that does great in the snow and can also tow my small camper, so I saw the writing on the wall that I needed to sell my Maverick to get an AWD. I will be placing an order tomorrow as soon as the order banks open up.

Those that own Hybrids - will we see the "value" drop on the FWD version because people will prefer the AWD version? Do you regret buying your FWD hybrid and not waiting for the AWD that we knew was coming at some point?
No regrets here. AWD… will it affect my mileage? More stuff to go wrong? How often do I need it being retired? FWD works well with the engine/ battery weight over the wheels. Front wheels put the traction in the direction you are going. I recall putting 400 pounds of sand in the back of my pickup box in the winter just to get around in the snow.❄🌨

Curious to know if the AWD is realistically getting the mpg as the FWD. it looks like it’s advertised as the same. Anyone know?

Regerts, no.
Remorse, no.
Envy, yes and internally debating, of course.

Everything I want is now included in the 25. My 23 rolled into a 24 and got it Jan or Feb...

Wanted green since day 1.
Wanted Hybrid since day 1.
Wanted 3k of towing.
Wanted AWD.

I will probably trade in as I just hit 4k mi. Every time I leave my house it is essentially off roading 3.2+ miles. Highway to close cities then hours of running around the city. The longer I spend, the better the Hybrid shines. AWD is wanted because no matter how I try I have issues on the local roads. When I need a real 4x4, towing over 3500lbs, I break out the dually... the mav is my "daily" but I work from home so it is a grocery getter. My '24 was my 2nd new vehicle since I started driving. I was ready for creature comforts.

I posted in another thread, but I am thinking of going from Lariat to XLT Lux... my loan is less than kbb trade-in. My 24 was 36, and the 25 XLT Lux wouldbe less than 1k more for 4k and awd. Losing the ACC and Lane Centering will be sad as I am just getting used to them, but now the dogs nose won't change the a/c on me! I prefer the smaller 17s over the 19s. I got the BAP for the blacked out headlights wich is now included... justifing keeping Lariat for the following and not sure if I will use them in the next 8+ years. I will keep it through the warranty.
360 cams would be nice
All windows with auto up/down is nice since I have a limited function in my left hand (hopefully this surgery fixes it)
Don't care about the front sensors, activeX seats, rear window, and now with sync 4, I don't need a built in nav.

Maybe I should start ANOTHER thread with poll about these... LOL!!!

I have no remorse. I bought what I needed and wanted. No need for AWD. The 4K tow would be nice to have, but no need for that either.
I would like to know why or what Ford changed so the hybrid can tow 4k now instead of 2000#

Hybrid never was only 1500#. It was 2,000#. Adding AWD with 2 more half shafts sharing the power and load is what made the 4000# tow possible on the Hybrid.

NO . The purchase of the MAV was made to replace an existing car not as an investment. I waited almost 13 mo for it. I do not need an AWD. Hope your wait is not as long. People get a vehicle to suit their needs , not as an investment. LOL

Me: 2024 Lariat hybrid, 4,150 miles on the odo, 43-47mpg. Over 600+ miles per fillup. Perfect trucklet for what I do. I don't need AWD and I don't tow. I drive with a light foot and use the brake coach.

Other than the amber lens side marker/turn signal light mod [custom, not Mabett] to the fender badge, all my mods are appearance and convenience related [tailgate damper, hood struts]. I have not had any recalls performed, nor do I have deep sleep issues. It fired right up after sitting for 16 days in my garage while I was away.

Happy camper here.

Should have done this as a poll so that you can see everyone's answers without having to read 7 pages haha. I have a 22 hybrid FWD, besides the recalls, its been problem free, and I have no regrets. It was 30k out the door for a XLT w/lux package vs close to 37k for an XLT hybrid AWD w/lux package. The truck is a bargain at 30k, not quite so at 37k!

I actually want both. I don’t regret the FWD. I love the gas mileage. It handles just fine in the winter. It never snows anymore in southeast Michigan so I don’t feel that I really need the awd.

It's tempting in some respects but I think most people wont regret or wont admit to regretting their decision (unless you just bought a Maverick close to the 25 reveal). I don't have a Hybrid but it would be nice to have the same towing ability & AWD with a hybrid. I believe my 24 AWD 4K Ecoboost will still have more power than the AWD Hybrid. I would like the bigger screen with Sync4 but everything else with the 25's don't really add that must have feature as far as I'm concerned.

price drops ONLY matters when you are selling...and I would imagine the people who bought FWD HYB don't really care.

Not at all, I love my FWD Maverick and don't have a need for AWD. I was after a great mileage vehicle and I have that and it's been reliable to boot.

No regrets, I don't really need AWD or 4000lb tow capacity
