My Maverick is not garaged and so far this winter we have been down in the low to mid twenties at night and I have had no issues, knock on steel.

Maybe you can get them to take it off the (ADM-additional dealer markup) that they will likely hit you with when you go to pick it up. Ordered vehicles do not always match your actual order.
