I suppose as we can't see the number of views on the thread but.. 13 failures in 2 days on what I have to assume is very small group of active MTB members participating is sufficient. Ford has an actual problem they are ignoring, kudos to Radmav for shinning a light

Interesting my orig post has as many likes as the total # of reported failures of which 11 are hybrids.
main problem I saw with the poll was no one without a failure can view the poll results.

Please note I haven't voted in the poll, because I haven't confirmed a CV failure though I do have some front end vibration between 30ish-50ish sometimes.

Huh? I have not had a failure and I have not voted. I can see all of the results.

Also wld like to know from the owners with broken axles is when did it happen? Mav hybrid owner here for 18 months and only 9k miles driven. I’m wondering shd I drive harder before warranty ends.

add my stock 2022 Hybrid Lariat to this list. 35980 miles.

shaking/vibration at highway speeds, took it in to the dealer and got the diagnosis that it needs new front axle shafts.

Trying to get some actual numbers of failed axles and with which setup. It's hard to get any type of accurate numbers by reading all the threads. If you've had an axle or two, or three, or four, fail on you, please fill out the pole.

Noticed there are no tremor failures.
I can obtain tremor axles
Pz6z- part numbers if anyone in San Diego area would like to see if they would swap out, I would be willing to help with comparison and install.
I believe they would be a direct swap .
Stock at an nz6z- part number and are like 40-60 each cheaper than my cost of the tremor axles .
Copy of tremor cost of a pair I bought for mock up wider axles.

So far I have an additional 2” lift over stockish of angle added to my tremor and have done $10k miles with the 255/75/17 tires and no problems .

I'd like a definitive answer with side-by-side images of a tremor vs regular AWD axle shaft. I mean, if it's stouter and compatible, it would be almost a "no-brainer" swapping in the Tremor part. But that's a big if.

Dealer just called. Replaced one side. Vibration still there. Replaced the other and it's now gone. 20k miles with oversized tires, no lift.

I do have comparison with calipers and pics against some hybrid axles somewhere on this site and they are approximately 1/8” thicker on shafts and ball ends too.the tremors also appear to be a 5 or 6 ball slider joint where the hybrids are a 3 ball.

Came here to post that the dealership replaced both axles. Slight lift and oversized tires, FX4 EB. 37K miles.

There was one tremors actually are a 10 ball slider with a cge setup similar to porshe style .
I also accidently clicked on this poll thinking it had a option for no problems on the tremor box amd tried to remove the vote , but wouldnt remove it so mrmagoo is only one with tremor fail .

Does the model year make any difference?
I believe lowering or lifting does.

Remember, the axles fall under the power train warranty so you do have more time and miles than just the 3/36.
