Are axles covered under powertrain warranty?
well something still could be done for hybrid but the OP was talking about using regular ecoboost CV axles and sending them in for R&D. but thanks to @Bwicka it hopefully is obvious that it will cost a lot less for ecoboost owners to just use the Tremor CV axles instead.I hate to say it, but it looks like this thread is dead and the aftermarket project has been abandoned.
The OP @RadMav hasn't been on the site since 9/19/24...I hate to say it, but it looks like this thread is dead and the aftermarket project has been abandoned.
I have an appointment to get my driver side replaced on my hybrid under warranty. It took about 2 years for it to go bad, so hopefully by the time the same one or both axles go bad there are aftermarket options.well something still could be done for hybrid but the OP was talking about using regular ecoboost CV axles and sending them in for R&D. but thanks to @Bwicka it hopefully is obvious that it will cost a lot less for ecoboost owners to just use the Tremor CV axles instead.
