Battery issue

I have a 22 Maverick Hybrid and in the last 3 months have been getting battery saving message. For awhile every other day, now almost daily. Had battery checked while sign on 11.6, tested fully charged 11.8 and 12.6. Battery under warranty but because it's up to 12.6 not covered. When I asked dealer if I bought an AGM battery would they reset system up to accept the new battery, they said sure bring new battery in they'll put it in, reset computer and I can be on my way.

If you let them do it - you'll want to go home and do next step in manual unless they keep it long enough to do it.
Lock doors and sit overnight.

Buy new Maverick Hybrid. Replace battery with Wal-Mart H5 AGM for ~$180 (4 year full replacement warranty). Sell practically new, OEM battery for ~$75 on Marketplace. Net cost ~$100. You've just saved yourself a ton of frustration even though that crappy lead-acid battery should be covered under warranty. Even if you do get Ford to replace it, they are just going to replace it with another crappy lead-acid battery.

Hybrid don't worry about CCA - Reserve would be more important.

Since any battery could have a problem and go bad - go by warranty and ease of exchange and getting another one.

And of course the size 140R/H4/LN1.

Not important on the Hybrid. The 12v battery doesn't start the gasoline engine. That's done by the HV battery and an electric motor inside the eCVT. All the 12v battery does when starting is operate the computers and close relays that energize the HV battery.

Plenty of pictures on my review, so you can see it actually is near identical to the factory flooded one, and fits fine.

I would wait til closer to black friday, I only paid $111 on the past " Prime October Days" or whatever it is, the drop in cost is what got me to pull the trigger.

Lots of reports and no firm answers. On a lease car I'm certainly not going to buy a new battery of any kind.

I'm having the same issue on our 2022 Escape Hybrid, along with my 2023 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Shortly after parking the car, it often (but not always) says it's going into battery saver mode and remote services are not available. The message is coming from my Ford Pass app on my phone and when we get that, we cannot "look" at the car on the app as communication has ceased.

Though I cannot be certain I believe these messages on both cars have happened most recently after service and software updates as part of the recalls.

Not a dumb question at all. If it is an AGM battery, it will say AGM on it somewhere.

Purchased in April 2023. Since last month getting notification on my phone about deep sleep mode daily. Vehicle highway drive daily 60-100 miles per day. Is it normal? Battery under warranty?

I am hearing about the deep sleep now. My 22 with ECO was left in the garage for 2 weeks in 2022. while away I got A notice on my phone after one week that my Maverick was in deep sleep. After another week I got home and started with no problem. So I figured it was suppose to go into the deep sleep to save the battery. Never did it again, but never set any long time with out driving after that.
