This may be of help.I have the 2025 XL, 2.0L EcoBoost 4 cyl. Is the AWD always active or does it kick in automatically when needed?
Thank you sir.only when the computer senses a need, such as wheel slippage is my understanding
This video exceeded my inquiry and expectations! Thank you! This may be of help.
A few things wrong here:In slippery mode my 2024 AWD puts equal power to each wheel at all times below 40 mph. At least that’s what the individual wheel power meter shows me.
All other modes, rear wheel power is delivered as needed.
If I spin a wheel all power goes to the other three wheels equally, per my wheel power meter screen.
If a Subaru spins a wheel all power goes to only one wheel until traction comes back.
Yeah, stupid I know.
Yep gone is this wheel power screen in the 2025
Tremor? My Subaru comment is from watching one repeatedly try to make a climb on a dry loose steep section.
It was easy with my Mav.
Nope, Lariat, no Tremor gear underneath. My RDU is I assume limited slip. Does not disturb my gravel roads in the two switchbacks that are full turn the wheel all the way tight.Tremor?
RDU is open diff. Tremor has the RDU with twin clutch packs.Nope, Lariat, no Tremor gear underneath. My RDU is I assume limited slip. Does not disturb my gravel roads in the two switchbacks that are full turn the wheel all the way tight.
