Hey, you put the lift kit in while knowing that it would change the CV joint angles, and now its costing you. Lift kits are a problem waiting to happen on a unibody. That's user-inflicted damage not covered by warranty, but maybe if you put it back to stock the mechanic won't notice the tool marks, the wrong bolts and the link extenders from somebody screwing with the suspension and allow warranty.
Lifting the truck an inch isn't the issue. Ford clearly has a defective part and should replace all of them with the new axle.

Ah, you need to do your research more thoroughly. The CV joints are already at max angles without increasing the angles with the lift pucks. I agree that its a bad design allowing a vehicle to be built from components stretched to the outer limits of compatibility, but here we are. The 8-speed transmission is similarly maxed-out too.

Cheap design, poor quality. Why, what is gained other than higher profit margins.

I absolutely understand the risks of the lift kit. I have no intention of trying to deceive the dealer or trick then into a free replacement. That's why I'm not even going to take it back to the dealer for this issue. Besides, they would just replace with the same crappy CV axles anyway. I want something better.

To me, the lift is still totally worth it. The extra 1.5 inches and larger tires opens up so many roads and trails that otherwise would be beating up my exhaust and undercarriage. Unfortunately the Tremor package didn't exist yet, so I made my own.
So, wait for it, yeah man ! LIGHTBULB !! Get Tremor axles and CV's !

Tremor is jacked up, axles gotta be longer, stouter.

It's good to see the aftermarket stepping up with options.
Well. Add my 2023 Mav to the CV axle replacement list. Under warranty. Thank goodness. Or not? If they’re replacing them with the same OEM part will I have an out of warranty repair about 22k from now? Hmmmmm.

They're not. The replacement part was updated in 2024.

NAPA is my primary parts supplier since Carquest got bought up. And I'll say that they're claims to be better than OE are as dubious as every other aftermarket part that says as much. Most of it is the same Dorman, etc, parts as the other chains. Plenty of which I've had to replace after 2-3 years (of fleet use) when the OE lasted 8+ years.

Good to know they make quality stuff. It should be tough if they are giving it a lifetime warranty.

However, I still think it's a HUGE gamble if it will fit or not. Hybrid, EB AWD and Tremor all have different part numbers, and NAPA website never asked. It didn't even ask left vs right. That's what concerns me the most.
Did you call the NAPA store and ask? Usually, their parts counter help are a step up from Advance, Autozone, O'Reilley and other "box" stores....

ADD ON: I looked at Rock Auto - their CV joint offerings are pretty slim.

Why don't you simply buy the current upgraded/revised parts from Ford and let the parts counter at your dealer determine the correct shaft for the left and right side and any associated parts based on your VIN?

Unless the jerks used a different spline, so that's a double check item.

This upgrade has already been done by MTC members. Tremor axles fit the standard Maverick.

Did it solve the problem of early failure ?

Why would you get your parts from a dealer when their sole purpose is to profit and rip you off for their shoddy quality and workmanship! Example...... Seven dollars for ONE shroud screw or clip. Why would you replace an OEM defective part with another! Pricing for many items is 2 1/2 times the actual cost. So if you get a part and it is wrong or fails again, Ford has covered shipping a new part at no cost. In some cases aftermarket is more robust at half the price with a solid warranty and without a weasel clause.

Since I really want to have the Maverick back in action as soon as possible I decided not to gamble on the NAPA option.
I also want the strongest option possible so I ordered the Tremor axles. They should be here on Wednesday.
