You could upgrade to the Tremor axles.
Good advice if they fit. I would also get ones with lifetime warranties since it may happen again with this design. Get a good brand..not nescessarily Fords if you are doing the work and warranty is about to or has expired.

I would avoid that dealership at all costs! This should have been a 5 minute diagnosis for even a backyard mechanic with jackstands!
Trust me, I get it. Mechanics are now just computer guys looking at code ... simple diagnostics have gone by the wayside. They don't look for anything that the computer doesn't tell them.

If you go to an independent shop, you'll see they're qualified. That's because they get paid well. Ford and other brands' dealers pay like garbage. So, the techs don't want warranty work.

Thank you for posting these part number. I have seen other posts asking for them and at the time no one has them. They just had the fx4 part numbers not the tremor ones.

These part numbers are for the 2 front axles. The rear ones are different as well.

Front axles for Tremor
PZ6Z-3B436-A
PZ6Z-3B437-A

Front axles for AWD and FX4
NZ6Z-3B437-A
NZ6Z-3B436-B

Front axles for FWD
NZ6Z-3B436-A
NZ6Z-3B437-A

The FWD and AWD have the same part number for the left axle.
All Tremor axles are unique to the Tremor.

Rear axles Tremor
PZ6Z-4K138-A
PZ6Z-4K139-A

Rear axles AWD & FX4
NZ6Z-4K138-A
NZ6Z-4K139-A

The hybrid has its own part numbers.

NZ6Z-3B436-F
NZ6Z-3B437-B

Bronco sport has part numbers unique to it and are not shared with the Maverick.

I can find only one part number for the front wheel hub.
NZ6Z-1104-A
If all Maverick types have the same hub it would make the spline count and shaft size that goes in to the hub the same for all models. There are other parts of the cv shaft to be compared but this suggests there may be some compatibility and an upgrade to a higher model part may work.
When the AWD 4k tow hybrid comes out, it will be interesting to see the part numbers and how they compare. The 2024 and before FWD hybrid had the weakest axles they cant use them for 4k tow so it must be a new part.
