Picked up our Truck today. Extraordinary and positive experience. Zero games, they expedited the PDI and truck cleanup, stayed late so we could pick up today. Then when we sat with Finance - they gave us exactly what we had agreed on our trade-in - and gave us the exact price we had agreed upon. In fact, they reduced the tag transfer fee. They offered 3 things: 1)Extended Warranty for $1480 2)6 Oil changes for $350 3)3 years of Tire protection for $250. We said no to all but the tire protection and 30 seconds later were signing the paperwork. Easy no haggle and as promised.

The dealer is great! Didn’t have to tell them anything about price protection. They already knew to check order date vs purchase date in Smart Vincent. Honored my trade-in price from when I ordered. And they sell for invoice price. Correct, below MSRP. Yes, on a Mav. For my Mav, that is $1018 under MRSP. No haggling, just how they do business.
You do not have to be local, they sell to people all over; I have heard of some in Canada and Alaska. You just have to arrange for shipping; typically people fly in and drive home though.

I started this thread because I was stressed that when I eventually picked up my Maverick that the dealer would try something shady. Happy to report that after a 9 month wait, I picked up my truck today. No markups, offered the 0% for 36 months and MSRP at the 2021 price. Shout out to Wynne Ford in Hampton VA.. Now I just need to get used to all the new gadgetry.. Anyone want to buy my 1998 S10? 283,000 loving miles and it‘s got a cassette player!

Maverick XL, hybrid, 360, moonroof,inverter, trailer, tray floor mat. Ordered 8-30-21. Shipped this past week. Fords predicted delivery to @LeoKaytesFord, Warwick NY. I’ll post how it goes for me.

Ordered mine on 1/22/22 at dealer number two. The first place I visited pretty much told me I had no hope and didn’t want to deal with me! Second dealer was overly helpful and honest. Took delivery on 4/30/22 and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience, especially after following this forum beforehand seeing the horror stories!

They didn’t discount below MSRP but they also didn’t mark it up. The price I came up with on fords website was identical to the price they quoted me.

my 05 golf has both a cassette slot and a CD slot but I've only got 210k mi on it. Good luck finding a new home for your S10. So happy you got your baby and the dealer didn't hassle you.

I bought my Maverick from Austin at Fox Ford in Grand Rapids, MI. He kept me as informed as he could while waiting for my order (though I usually hear what he had to tell me here first).

Once it was here, he made sure everything went smoothly. He made sure my X-Plan, price protection, and rate protection were all honored without any issue. He asked about, but didn't push me to add underbody and fabric protection. Highly recommended!

1.5 hours from the time I stepped on their property to when I was out with the truck. MSRP/X plan. When I declined the additional warranties, they moved on without acting like I had just bankrupted them.

I had the same experience. My dealer honored the MSRP we looked at a year ago when we ordered it, no hassles to buy any add-on stuff, no warranty pitch, and they offered the 0% financing that was good when I placed the order.
