Great experience at Vancouver Ford in Vancouver, WA. Within 60 seconds of arriving to place my order last July I was told they had a $2K ADM. I flat out said if that isn't dropped I will go somewhere else. Within 2 minutes it was agreed to be dropped and the order was made with $1K down. Before picking up the truck 2 weeks ago I messaged the sales person asking for an exact amount I will owe. I was told it will depend on the extras I opt for. I said I want it exactly how I ordered it, nothing more, nothing less. After seeing the truck and filling out the necessary paperwork I went to the bank for a cashier's check. Quick and painless.

Ourisman Ford, Alexandria Va was GREAT! My dealings were with Mike P, everything went as planned. Perfect across the board, no surprises, as promised.
I want to echo this, had a great experience with Ourisman of Alexandria, they honored their word with the sale, were very helpful through the process providing info, rail car numbers with open communication. I was in and out in less than an hour and that included a demo from my salesman and help activating my Fordpass account. Mike Powers, Armin Bojku (sales) and Ted Mixon (finance) were all great to work with and they didn't try to aggressively push any add ons, warranties, etc. If anyone in the DC area is looking to order in August with a no-nonsense dealership I highly recommend Ourisman Ford of Alexandria, great experience.

I recommend finding out the ford rating for the dealership. you can look that up in the ford website in the ordering tool when you search for dealers. I drove past 2 dealers to get to the 5 star and experience was very good and without the slightest drama. I would guess that i a dealer is not ethical, it would show up there and at least give you an opportunity know if 'loaded for bear' could be needed, or give you peace of mind

Dealer location - the ratings come from the surveys sent to those with completed purchases. I noticed the bad dealers have no ratings. On the third picture, highest number of ratings and highest rating was Mike Murphy and that is who I bought from. Absolutely perfect. Its good to complete the buy and walk out feeling like you got the best value and feel good about who you bought from. Its weird, but I feel loyal to my sales guy! but when I have any issue, he was the guy who fixed it. For example, I had a small dent and two small scuffs on delivery. I got a loaner to go to MCDs while he drove my truck to two locations to have the dent removed and scuffs polished. Himself! Was not passed off or every felt I was asking for too much. I only wish we could put the bad dealers out of business so that only the good ones exist.

Lockhart Motor Company (Ford) in Lockhart, Tx did right by me. No markups, liitle time spent on extended waranties and such and reasonable closing fees.

Great experience purchasing from Ray Varner Ford in Clinton, Tennessee

Ordered with $200 deposit
No add-ons or pressure to finance
Extended warranty offered but no pressure (explained that the best cost was at time of purchase)
Had my Fits add-on package at signing
Used my Farm Bureau discount without issue (long-term FB member)
Ray Varner thanked me for my patience with the long lead time

I will definitely recommend the dealership and they will be my first stop when shopping for future Ford vehicles.

191 Days after I ordered my new Maverick it was delivered to my very rural dealer. Hill Country Ford in Goldthwaite Texas. Upon arriving I was ecstatic to see full set of Michelin tires on a sunny day shiny Velocity Blue Lariat.

I did the entire buy over the phone on Oct 27th and got Ford accepted order e-mail on 29 October. Since then I got 9 more e-mails on status changes up to final prep e-mail. I only called and pestered the dealer 3 times all about discounts and financing options. In the end Ford did not honor the $750 off that ended 4-4-2022. OH well they did give the Xplan, and $500 military discounts. I ended up financing through my Bank as same APR as FoMoCo.

On delivery I finally met the Owner as he is the only salesman and finance guy. Got introduced to service staff and as we went to the car the owner said "I don't have anyone here who knows as much about this truck as you do." I told him no sweat this is not my first new Ford and I have read and re-read the owners manual at least 3 times... we both laughed.

I did my check list , a lot based on known problems from this forum. From underneath I asked the owner if he had a way to put in and "Engineering field request to Ford." He said he would chat with reginal guy next time they met. This was about drivers side lack of debris and water protection to tail light area. I do intend to do the shield fix noted here on the forum.

We both figured out the Ford App and not noting any obvious problems we went inside to pay and chat a bit. Totally painless, zero up sale, a promise to see if FoMoCo had any way to send me the $750 later as I had held up to the implied contract, not my fault it took 29 days shipping.

We spent a good hour just two good ole boys BSing and playing what if he had found a way to order half dozen for his lot considering they are selling fast with very high ADMs. I suspect the 23 MY Mavericks will have several orders from him. He does not seem to think the supply chain and new vehicle shortages will be fixed in next 36 months, I tend to agree.

The drive home was interesting as I have drive Jeep Cherokees the last 5 years and Ford controls are all opposite side on steering wheel and stalks. Thanks to lane sense and feedback I stayed in my lane (mostly....grin) 52 mile rural 75 mph highway home, light traffic as I decreased to 50ish then acceleration up to 80 ish and back every 5 miles.

Stopped at Lampasas VFW to see if anyone wanted to see the first Maverick in the county. Probably generated 3 future sales when I told them what the full boat truck cost ($38K with TT&L)

The Only issue I fixed at home was to drop Tire pressure from 50Lbs down to 37 once it was cooled down.

Ordered mine on 1/22/22 at dealer number two. The first place I visited pretty much told me I had no hope and didn’t want to deal with me! Second dealer was overly helpful and honest. Took delivery on 4/30/22 and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience, especially after following this forum beforehand seeing the horror stories!

Ordered my mav. from town and country ford in Bessemer Al. My dealer Jay was great. Had me out of there in a hour. Paid $500 adm he told me that when I ordered. Kept to his words. Had my birthday on Friday he sent me a email wishing me a happy birthday.

Marshall mize in Hixson, TN. Called me right as my received email came in from Ford. Never rushed to come pick it up. Came in on a Saturday. Gave me a great price on my trade in. Made sure my fordpass app was set up walked me through features ( this part was kind of funny since like most others here I had been obsessed and knew it all). The price was the same as my DORA which they gave me a copy of 5 days after I made the reservation because I didn't ask for one originally. Offered me the warranty twice then didn't ask again. He did look like a hurt puppy when I paid cash but other than that it was great. Maybe if I had asked for xplan it would have been different but I doubt it.
So happy to hear you had a positive experience purchasing your Maverick! Hope you enjoy being out on the road!

Picked up our Truck today. Extraordinary and positive experience. Zero games, they expedited the PDI and truck cleanup, stayed late so we could pick up today. Then when we sat with Finance - they gave us exactly what we had agreed on our trade-in - and gave us the exact price we had agreed upon. In fact, they reduced the tag transfer fee. They offered 3 things: 1)Extended Warranty for $1480 2)6 Oil changes for $350 3)3 years of Tire protection for $250. We said no to all but the tire protection and 30 seconds later were signing the paperwork. Easy no haggle and as promised.

Sawgrass Ford of Fort Lauderdale. Excellent dealer. Pic in our Driveway!
