Delivery Date experiences welcome

Today I received a delivery date of February 3rd-9th! Im curious as to what other’s experiences have been with theirs? How accurate are they? More like lot it comes sooner? Later? Thanks y’all! I’m in Louisiana if that makes a difference

The closer you are to Mexico - and the more direct the route the train will take to your dealer - the shorter and more accurate the delivery date is likely to be. Your dealer may have insight based on past experience, but they likely won't have any control over it. At most they may be able to check how close it is, but a lot depends on where on the train it may be, where it's going to be dropped off to be moved to a truck, how many trucks are going to your dealer's area....

My delivery date was extended before it finally showed up - it sat an hour's drive away for a very frustrating week before it got to my dealer.

I just posted this in another thread. I was told delivery would be 1/3/2024 to 1/16/2024. It was delivered today.

I just took delivery and drove it home. Very nice to drive. 1/4/2024 7:00 P.M.

Mine was scheduled for delivery between 12/26/23 to 01/04/24 and arrived on 12/31 in northern CA.

Many are shipped and delivered in 3-4 weeks. Same a 1 or 2 weeks longer. And then there are a few horror stories like mine. Sorry, but i posted this same story on other threads.. May be unwelcomed.
Mine was shipped on 11/16/'23 with an estimated delivery of 11/26-12/08. I'm still waiting. (Today is 1/5/'24). I talked with dealer, who used "vinview".
Story is, my Mav got to Chicago from Mexico in less than 2 weeks, just needed to be trucked 90 miles north to Wisconsin. Rail yard forgot to unload it and railcar was sent to east coast. it was on a site see trip for over a month. Finally back in Chicago on 12/29. Hope it gets unloaded this time. Dealer says the have no control once on rail. Delivery date still shows 12/08/'23.

Anything going through Chicago is a nightmare. I worked with the Chicago rail yards 30+ years ago. It was a mess then that has only gotten worse.
