Age of targeted Maverick Buyer

63 and counting. I've had 3 S-10 pickups in my life the last one being a 94 I traded in 2000. Pickups have gotten gargantuan and when I saw Ford was coming up with the Maverick it started bringing back memoirs of my S-10's. I ordered a Cyber Orange Lariat, this will be a stable mate of my orange 2019 30th Anniversary Edition Miata. Of my many many cars over the years this will be my first Ford.

I'm 55 and am replacing my 2013 Honda Accord and my 1999 Chevy 1T Long Bed Truck with a Cactus Gray Lariat with Lux Package and hybrid engine. Put my $1,000 down and ordered it today. I've never been so excited about a vehicle purchase before.

40 here. Replacing my 2014 Jeep Cherokee with the 2.0 Lariat Lux AWD and 4k tow package. We have a pop-up camper that weighs around 1700lbs. Definitely pushing it with our current towing capacity of 2k lbs.

27 years old. Got the lariat with lux. This is my 3rd truck. I’ve had 2 rangers 2000 and 2001. So I’m excited to have a 4 door truck now

I'm 35. I'm a home owner with two kids so I wanted something that had room for car seats and a bed for trips to Home Depot. I also wanted something that I could throw around in the turns for spirited driving. The Maverick checked all the boxes for me and I ended up getting a Lariat Lux

58 here and would order a XL but for 2,300 more you get so much. So XLT it is, I guess I’m still 18 at heart because the first look at the orange accents and stitching I was hooked. I have a lot of cars but I’m missing a MPG car and the maverick is it with a bed. I have a $100 down on a cyber truck and a Lightning but after studying these truck I learned if you tow around 8,000 lbs the 300 mile range turns to about 100 miles. So towing isn’t really a option with them either. The Maverick may bridge the gap until the 4 door Bronco pickup makes its debut In 2023-2024-2025...

I’m torn between the maverick (great price, great mpg) and getting a midsize SUV (more money). I throw a tarp down and have hauled 2x4’s with the seats flat, patio blocks, mulch, etc....

So if there was a SUV at this price point and mpg.....I’d probably do that since I would just rent a pickup from home depot if I needed unlimited load height or plywood (in my 50’s and I’d rather have this stuff delivered these days.)

I think forums crowd skew older. If you were to check out the Maverick Reddit you’d see mostly the 20-30 crowd.
