I'm floating just over 19mpg with the first tank of fuel that Chapman put in. I'm guessing its 87. When I picked up the truck, it was sitting at 7MPG so I've been working uphill this entire tank. At one point, it did indicate just around 23mpgs before dipping back down.
All my driving has been...
The fit and finish on that looks pretty good. Unfortunately, with two car seats in the back, I won't be putting or storing anything under or behind the rear seats for a long, long time.
If anyone is wondering, this is how these car seats fit in the Maverick.

I'm 5'11" and my wife is 5'10" and we are both very comfortable in the front seats.
I picked up my truck last night and while I only have roughly 80 miles on it... its aligning to what I was expecting.
My primary vehicle is a 2009 Honda Fit, which was a $16K car 12 years ago. It's a sea of plastic on the interior. Although they did a good job with keeping it simple to look...
I long suspected it would fit so this is great to see my suspicions were correct. I generally don't like engine covers; but this looks pretty darn good on the Maverick.
Picked up my truck today from Chapman. By far the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was in and out quickly and everyone was authentically nice.
Interesting! I haven't heard about a recall on the Maverick but here's the info for the Bronco Sport:

I optioned the Moonroof on my build and I'm picking up my truck tomorrow 🤷♂️
Interesting that a complaint was legroom but that wasn't an issue with the Ranger they tested. The Maverick has more overall legroom on paper but that doesn't always transfer to real life.

2. Awesome news regarding the A.R.E. toppers. Many of us are waiting for a sleeker looking design compared to the FLA/SnugTop one.
There are quite a few reasons:
Low vehicle ingress and egress compared to mid and full-size trucks. I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and my daughter is very independent and likes to do things herself like climbing in and out of the vehicles. Last thing I want is to rely on step bars where...
To be fair it's like calling the Maverick a faster truck when it was tested to be .1 second quicker 0-60. You certainly won't notice the 1.5 cubic feet of difference just as you won't notice the 1.5 cubic feet of more room. To me, the differences are so negligible that it's a draw.
