'23 Order Confirmation Emails Yet?

Hello,

On Thursday I was at the dealership as soon as it opened to order my Maverick XLT. I gave them a copy of my driver’s license, signed the buyers order and paid $500. I never received an email confirming my order was placed and the salesman told me that I won’t get an email until I get a vin number and my order will be processing for a long time until then.

I asked him Sunday why I never received an email and he said he doesn’t know but my order was placed.

Is there a way to confirm my order was placed? If not I will be asking for my $500 back and going to a different dealership. Sad thing is there will be thousands in front of me.

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Not today. Most of us used Ford's chat system to get confirmations but they closed 10 minutes ago. Some dealerships, I think, are just not including the customer email so there is nothing for Ford to email to even though the order is in the system.

yes two things to ask for first and formost ask for a copy of a scaned copy of your C.O.V.P. from ford with your approval on it from ford a copy of the D.O.R.A.-Build/sheet with your order# onit and make sure they submitted the correct E-Mail to ford if any one letter is off or missing you will not get a conformation E-Mail from ford this will have to be corrected!

I ordered on Friday and have yet to receive an confirmation e-mail. I contacted Ford customer support and was able to confirm my order was in their system. They said that I'd need to contact my dealer to fix my email address if that isn't right/not put in.

Are people getting their 23 order confirmations in email yet?
Yes, my order was placed around noon yesterday and I received the confirmation email from Ford less than 12 hours later just before midnight.

Are people getting their 23 order confirmations in email yet?
Yes, about 15 minutes after the order was submitted on Saturday. Funny thing is, I just received a second confirmation email just a few minutes ago. Don't know if I should be worried. Has this happened to anyone else???

No e-mail for me (order went in morning of 9/16). But, confirmed with my dealer twice that the order went in. He took a copy of my license and I got a signed order sheet. Paid a $500 refundable deposit. Contacted Ford support twice and confirmed both times order was unscheduled - clean. Have done all I can do. At this point, going to let the cards fall where they may.

Plenty of theories if you have a confirmed and clean order.
  1. Dealer didn't put your email on it.
  2. Dealer put the wrong or incorrect email on it.
  3. Ford servers crapped it and it never actually made it out due to the high load.
  4. Your email domain controller blocked it as potential spam given the number Ford had been sending.
  5. You previously told Ford to not email you (my current theory for me, anyway).

I am confused on what you mean by this? "In order processing / Unscheduled Clean means the manufacturing plant is preparing your order for production" The chat agent from Ford told me this when I called to double check my order. She said that if you are in this status that means that your order was A) Successful B) Will be produced (If constrictions were a worry). I also did notice that it seems on Thursdays is scheduling day. Being that most of us placed This past week, Id be curious to see people getting more emails Thursday and Friday. Let's hope for some VIN's and dates!

My confirmation email from Ford came around 9pm yesterday 9-19-22, about 7 hours after my order was submitted 2pm earlier that day. Having said that, my order was supposed to be entered Thursday when banks opened but that’s a longer story an going off topic.
