Have you tried a water spot remover? Worth a shot either way, as itās a good product to have on hand if you like to do your own washes and waxes. Iāve used Chemical Guys with good luck. But my apologies, as I cannot decipher anything from the photos...
Agreed, and the heated steering wheel became the welcome bonus. I ordered it this way, but never actually tried a vehicle with one before getting the Mav, so I had no prior expectations.
Tire construction is also a big deal, for those of us that swap seasonally for snow tires in winter. Summer time we can typically get 45-46mpg. Winter time drops to low 30ās. About half that is various aspects such as colder air temps causing ICE to run longer, including using cabin heat...
Iām quite fond of this new Orange Fury. I tend to like bold colors, and the cyber orange was too school bus for me. Iād of ordered this instead of black had it been available back then. I might be in the minority, but what else is newā¦.
While it might not be related or the exact same cause to these Christmas tree array of symptoms, I recall other forum members experiencing all these (nearly if not) the same symptoms. There was a whole rash of them all at once. I did not experience it, so my timeline may be off, but maybe a...
Well, Iām glad food and beverage are listed first as priorities. Skinny Pop and granola bars are game changers for me! Who cares about product quality when crappy snacks are easier to get. Guess I better get a man bun going too.
Cheap snacks are job one!
I run dedicated snow tires and no sand bags in our fwd hybrid. I had initially planned to use some sand bags, since I would normally do this on all previous rwd/4wd trucks, but found the Mav just didnāt need them.
I live in the Rust Belt, so anti-seize went on the lugs the very first time I took the tires off (which was within 800 miles of buying new).
I also spread a bit around the center bore hole/flange and hub face to help prevent the wheels themselves from rusting in place.
I hand-wash ONLY anymore. I use the ātwo-bucket method,ā or a modified version if it via a pressure washer, foam cannon, and bucket to rinse the wash mit (dirt trap is built for a bucket, and I bought at harbor freight). I do not go to a public car wash anymore due to issues (damage...
My .02 cents after owning a few campers, is that most are built like cr@p. If you only plan to own a short while, buy new or nearly new, if you can afford it. If you plan to own for the long haul, stick with āhigher endā brands. Youāll pay more, but you get more. My short list is typically...
Very nice! Black is my favorite color choice for vehicles, despite it looking dirtier more easily. I ceramicād my truck, so itās very easy to wash.
While Iām not fond of the ābullhornsā look for the ā25, Iād need to keep my high beams. Having said that, the low beams of our ā23 are absolutely fantastic. I have not driven or owned a ā25, and I am curious if the headlights are as strong?
Did they mention the brand of ceramic they would have used? I find their comment/requirement of such frequent washes to be odd.
As for car washing in general, every method has pros and cons. All have risks and can do damage in various ways, including hand-washing. Did they mention what they...
