Don’t think the trade for my lariat hybrid to an awd hybrid would really be worth it. But I’d do it if there was a fx4 hybrid option

I am still 99% going to buy one. My wish-list was AWD, Hybrid, 4k Tow, Push button/keyless entry, Eruption Green, Adaptive Cruise. I am not super salty since I fully expected to need to buy a Lariat to get all that. Since they added Push button/keyless entry to the XLT, that hits my wallet a bit less. My ONLY gripe is that they did not offer "360 Assist" (which would have given me the Adaptive Cruise) on the XLT. But I am still thinking I will be ordering an XLT. I don't need adpative cruise THAT much.

I don't know, but FWD Hybrid is still available (and the now gone FWD Ecoboost was never flat towable)

Not a fan of the redesigned front grill and lights. I like mine better on my hybrid Lariat. As far as the interior, it won’t take long for the light seats to get dirty. I think the blue and off white will look better with some exterior colors though. Look at how much the price increased from the ‘22 models. The interest rates are also going to be a deal breaker for a lot of potential customers.

No, I won’t be ordering. I’m keeping my ‘22 hybrid HPR for a very long time.

Interesting that they are saying that the AWD has the same curb weight as the FWD but 100 lbs less payload, that does not seam right to me. Also what would be included in the 4K Tow Package? Did they add a tranny cooler for the ECVT?

That's base curb weight which is something of a guesstimate. Different powertrain, trim, options are probably going to put the actual curb weight typically higher and commensurately affect payload/GCWR.

I really wish the AWD hybrid was available when I ordered my '23 XLT hybrid. I'd really love an AWD XLT hybrid with the 4k tow package in Eruption Green but it's probably pushing the upper $30k price range now

All of the hybrids starting in 2022 have a liquid cooled transmission. Surprising how many folks did not realize that.

My Hybrid eCVT while towing over 3k uphill over the Sierras on a 96°F day was 145°F.

It was under-rated from the start.
Had to steer people to the more profitable EcoBoost somehow.

Yes all Lariats are AWD.

I guess ill wait till my '22 0% loan is finished..if brown gets added in next few years and truck still holds most of its value on trade-in, ill be placing an order

2 years ago, I would have loved Hybrid AWD. After 2 years of price increases, I do not feel like I want it anymore. I'm afraid what a similar truck will price out to.

Hybrid XL AWD is over $10K more than Hybrid XL FWD 2022.

All I wanted was temperature display on the temperature dial and Keypad on the door pillar. I have no need for bigger screen, no need for Sync 4, I don't even own a cell phone, and I prefer buttons and knobs to a touch screen. I'm blessed to have a 2023.
