All of the hybrids starting in 2022 have a liquid cooled transmission. Surprising how many folks did not realize that.

With OBDII data reader:

My Hybrid eCVT while towing over 3k uphill over the Sierras on a 96°F day was 145°F.

It was under-rated from the start.
Had to steer people to the more profitable EcoBoost somehow.

Yea, I know, but doesn't the 4K have an additional cooler, or is it just a larger one?

Anybody know if these are the same for Canada?

I called my dealer this morning and he said he didn't know anything about the order banks opening tomorrow. They are accepting 2024 orders until 8/8, but another dealer in my city said they stopped taking orders a few days ago.

He mentioned that the USA packages sometimes differ from Canadian, so he said until I receive the "confidential" packages, don't rely on this USA guide as exactly what it will be in Canada.

But, he did message me back and said he has confirmed the AWD hybrid will be coming.

Someone in the thread mentioned that they thought that was due to compliance with California but that it hasn't changed in reality. If true it is likely just a tuning parameter.
