Can confirm I’ve stayed in all electric 4-5 little bars high which is more than a 10% throttle input. Again not always long but I have.

I’ve never as much even rode in a Mav with the HF45 but I’m curious if there’s a noticeable difference with the increased power and gear ratio.
Having had both, the power difference is noticeable.

Good article.

It explains exactly what I've noticed, this is NOT the same vehicle as my 24 Hybrid.

Regerative breaking is far more aggressive, meaning, I have to use the motor to speed up going down hills or it comes to a stop.

Only at 300 miles, I can't get an idea of mileage this early, as for power testing, I'm still breaking in, so no hard pulls yet.

Overall very happy with my upgrade to a 25.

XL AWD Hybrid.

My 25 AWD gets better MPG than my 23 FWD did, and the 25 is not broken in yet.

Do you ride in L?

regen braking barely slows me down on flat surfaces

EDIT: also regen braking occurs while you are pressing the brake pedal until the force required to slow the Mav exceeds the electric motor and switches over to or adds friction braking from the disc brakes

Has anyone actually dyno'd a 2025 Hybrid Maverick yet?

No, of course I'm not in L.

Either normal or eco, didn't seem to matter.

In PA it's all hills where I am, generally have to be doing 55 to still be going 45 at the bottoms.

This is at low speeds, like under 40.

But I'm wondering if the larger generator is pulling more power slowing it, because the battery is never fully charged with the way I drive.

I'm averaging almost 50/50 battery/motor usage.

Very little highway, all local, engine on uphill, electric downhill.

One other observation, when I get in a slippy situation where AWD may be kicking in, the motor ALWAYS turns on, like AWD forces ICE turn on.

OP said the HP remains the same.
Did you read the article? The electric motor got a huge bump in power. Both did. And the 0-60 times dropped from 7.4 to 6.8.

Its a much more powerful drivetrain.

But HP remains the same. Right?

The article may be erroneous.
I've not yet found any other confirmation on those "numbers".
And does it make sense for the generator to be MORE powerful than the traction motor? 🤔

Not impossible. But it would be a first of a kind.
