Now that the 2025s are going out to customers. Can anyone confirm what eCVT the Front Wheel Drive models get? Trying to find it in online parts lists but not having any luck.

I cannot confirm for you with a source but the HF55 has a new electric motor and I believe it is for all hybrid mavericks and not just AWD

Hf55 I think has more torque capacity but overall power output on the 25s is identical. I haven't looked too much but I think overall shape / package of the 55 is likely identical to 45 and I wouldn't be surprised if for service the 55 supercedes 45 for 22-24MY mavericks

According to the parts compatibility on maktrans.net
HF45 and HF55 have the same Rear cover, Central housing, Front bearing housing for rotor of electric motor -generator, and some other things. So it does appear to be mostly internals. Just hope all hybrid 2025's get it.

historically, beefier versions of transmissions have been able to substitute directly for their predecessors; they're usually more heavily built (with more expensive parts).

Then again, some that sound like variants aren't: the GM Turbo 350 and Turbo 400 are actually different transmissions with different lengths, even though they share bolt patterns.

And the 700R4/4L60 descent from the 350, while the 4L80 descends from the 400 (and each are the same size as their predecessors). [yeah, I've had to learn more about this than I ever wanted to know. ]

But here, we seem to be talking about an iteration or stronger build, so it would be surprising for it to e side differently or otherwise not work as a replacement.
