My order is a cancelled MY22 order that had a VIN # and build week. I talked to FORD marketing on Tuesday of this week and confirmed that there were two orders - a MY22 (original order) and a MY23 (rolled order). Talked to my dealer yesterday and they said they could not do anything with the MY23 order. Today, I got an email from FORD confirming my MY23 order (Lariat with Luxury Pkg) but the color was listed as Atlas Blue - not the Alto Blue I had asked my dealer to change to. After getting the email from FORD I called FORD marketing and they confirmed that there is only one order and it's a MY23 with priority code 10, meaning that the dealer must have processed it. Called the dealer, they confirmed that they had entered the MY23 order and were working on getting the changes I want taken care of. I asked whether they could see my Private Offer in SMART VINCENT and they said no. So, I'm concerned that there is no longer a MY22 order in FORD's system and the dealer cannot see the Private Offer. Just wondering if there is a delay in the Private Offer showing up after the MY23 order is processed.
I'm a little confused because it sounds like you had a cancelled 22MY order but your dealer could edit it. The Lariat Luxury Package orders are still not able to edit. So my concern is that it was an actual canceled order or a order that the dealer put in for you in September. Especially because you should have a private offer on your canceled order. I do know that once they converted all the 22 orders over they did cancel those orders out of the system. Maybe they just had problems with your private offer. Your dealer needs to reach out to the Inventory Specialist in your region to get clarification.

I am facing a similar situation.

Have a 22MY Hybrid Lux XLT order that was scheduled for production on Nov. 7 2022 but then got pushed to December and officially canceled on Nov. 16, 2022.
I reach out to my dealership and they confirmed it was canceled. I worked with them on confirming the changes I want in my 23MY order and I approved what they called the DORA. I asked my dealer about details regarding the private offer for my 23MY since I am transitioning from 22MY and they said they don't have any information about a private offer or price protection.

What should I do from here? Who should I call?
They need to look up your information in smart Vincent (certificate inquiry) and they should see the $2750 Private Offer under your account.

Not OP but have a Private Offer question I hope you can shed some light on.

I had a scheduled with VIN MY22 order that was cancelled by Ford and reordered as a MY23 by Ford;

Wednesday - Went by dealer in the evening and verified order rolled over to NY23 and 99 Priority Code. Dealer confirmed order and assigned Priority Code 10.

Thursday - Chatted with Ford Customer Service and verified order entered into system as MY23 and Priority Code 10. Customer Service sees no private offer for this order.

Friday - Call Ford Marketing to enquire about Private Offer and they can't find one assigned to this order either.

Monday - I guess I am going back to the dealer to see if they did a proper COVP with my order. With no private offer there is no way I can pay for the ($2500+) MY23 price increase after placing my order in October 2021.

Are you saying that my order has a Valid COVP because it was scheduled and had a VIN assigned back in September?
In 22MY an order could not get a vin and scheduled with a proper COVP approval. Is more likely that Ford hasn't been able to match up your offer with your name. Your dealer needs to reach out to the brand manager to get it corrected. They will need your dealer name, order number, your name and address.

I noticed on our dealership's one affected order that the customer email did not transfer to the new order. So everyone might want to check with their dealers to have them make sure that their email is included in WBDO on the new order so that they'll get the production updates!
When we went in to sign the priority 99 "preview order" the sales rep had us fill out the customer name and address, email, phone number, sign and date at the bottom of form. Said they required it to insure information was current and would update Fords records. Within hours the order confirmation email was sent to our new updated email address!👌✅👍

I did not place any order in September when the order banks were open, and the dealer did not advise me that they had entered an order for me. At that time I had a VIN# and build week for my MY22 order.

Well, that is what was supposed to happen....but as Tim says, Lariat Lux orders haven't yet been able to move on to this status, which it looks like you have.

So it seems very odd for this to be a Ford cancel 22/reorder 23 and not one of the other categories. I've not seen any other instance where those of us with Lariat Lux orders and cancelled VINs have been able to get the reorder put in as the dealers were locked out of changes.

Has anyone else gotten a private offer that expires at the end of January?
Ford said to reach out to the dealer to see if they can extend it. Dealer has no clue said it is up to Ford.

So, my dealer only moved me to priority 20. Will this have any impact on Ford moving me to priority 2 on or before Nov 30th? Has Ford started moving them now or will they wait until the 30th?
As far as we know, as long as they change it to anything other than a 99 Ford should see it as ready and pick it up for scheduling.

That is not something that the dealer can do.....

That transition private offer should be "protected" @ order date. They will probably extend the rebate anyway..... (which you'll want incase there are rebates offered @ sale date!)

Priority 20 is not possible for retail orders.....must be 10-19.

There's ANOTHER timing issue I'm concerned about. I believe Tim has indicated that it's another action that if not done on-time it's a total loss. That additional concern is the whole "Private Offer" process. I believe the dealer needs to "acquire a certificate" - in my name, if I recall correctly. I REALLY don't want them to blow my $2750 Private Offer. Can anyone shed some light or additional facts about how, what and when the dealer has to take care of that? Again, my dealer seemed clueless regarding this element. Thanks so much.
The dealer shouldn't need to do anything for this. If they ROVP/COVP'd the 22 order correctly, you should get the private offer automatically.

In a case where this does not happen automatically, the dealer can call someone at Ford at they will look into manually adding the customer to the private offer. (I don't know the specifics of what they'd require for "proof", because I haven't had to do this).

Your dealer should be able to check and see if they certificate # shows up for you for the transition private offer. If it doesn't.....they should contact someone at Ford to see what they need to do to get it for you.

But for the (vast?) majority of people, nothing needs to be done for the private offer.

Your dealer was probably confused/clueless, because they rarely (if ever) have anything to do w/ "acquiring a certificate".

My dealership just texted me and said everything is fixed now and I can come in whenever I want to.
Hey Minister Lewis, are you referring to the problem with Lariats with Lux being fixed?
