Strange, saw another post in which Varsity Ford Parts has the Ford cover pictured, but lists K2GZ-6A949-B as the part number. Several other links I clicked while searching the part number also had the Ford cover pictured but had -B as the part number.
You will get the Lincoln cover. I took one for the team and that is what they sent me.

I may have another Lincoln cover for sale - I just need to see if Corsair came with one. If it it did, I will sell the extra cover for a fair price plus at cost shipping method of your choice. I'll know this evening once the Spousal Unit is home from work.

Yep. I was looking also, and all seaches for the “A” number (EcoBoost version) result in getting the “B” version (Lincoln version) … even if the page shows generic engine cover sketch.

Would much rather have the Ford EcoBoost version, but went ahead and got the Lincoln one. At least the Lincoln emblem is small, and easily removable.

(You’d think Ford coulf easily come up with an EB version using a different badge in the same hole…)

Haven’t put mine on yet — Ordered a couple of cheap small emblems I’m going to try fitting. One says “Turbo,” the other says “2.0L”. (I’d use one or the other, not both)

But a “Ford” one would be nice.

ENGINE COVER BADGE OPTIONS:

If you’re looking at getting an engine cover, you know that the appropriate “Ford Ecoboost” version — K2GZ-6A949-A — was discontinued and doesn’t seem to be available new anywhere.

But you also know that there is an engine cover that fits the Maverick Ecoboost — The K2GZ-6A949-B.

This engine cover fits the Maverixk exactly. Only downside is that is comes with a small Lincoln emblem on it.

Might not bother you — it’s just a small bit of plastic, and it’s easy to remove by pulling off the two small flat nuts that hold it from on the underside.

BUT … If you’re looking for another appropriate badge of the same size to put in that spot, I found two different small metal badges exactly the right size that you might want to consider. (I swear you CAN find anything on Amazon…)

One says TURBO. The other says 2.0L.

Chrome Finish Metal Emblem Turbo Badge

Chrome Finish Metal Emblem 2.0L Badge

These come with adhesive strips, but you’ll have to use Gorilla Glue or some other heavy-duty adhesive to get them to stick to the foam. They “press fit” snuggly into the indented area where the Lincoln emblem is, so that helps.

I think they look pretty good.

I ordered both emblems ($5.88 each) because I couldn’t decide which one to go with …

Here are photos of both, plus the engine cover as it came, with the Lincoln emblem.

Let see the finished product once you receive it. I'm not picturing it. The Lincoln emblem is not a rectangle. I suppose you can cut it down? And, it's $40!
I found these Maverick EcoBoost-appropriate metal emblems that fit in the indented area of the Lincoln emblem EXACTLY.

$5,98 each on Amazon.

Chrome Finish Metal Emblem 2.0L Badge

Chrome Finish Metal Emblem Turbo Badge

Plastic Lincoln emblem easily removed (Two flat stud nuts on the back).

These badges come with adhesive strips — but you’ll need something like Gorilla Glue to get them to stick to the foam. Although they fit pretty tightly into the space, so aren’t going to jump out.

Here are photos of what they look like on the engine cover, along with photo of original.

Just received mine from of all places Walmart.com, but came from the Texas Ford dealer….it definitely does make the engine compartment look finished

I went to the wrecker yard the other day to look at some old Fords. I found a really nice Ford emblem on a early Ford Ranger. I believe it will fit nicely on my engine cover.
Did it fit? Pic?

I ended up getting a Lincoln cover and found a vintage Ford Maverick emblem that fits pretty well.

This one I actually like. The other ones (Turbo, 2.0 etc etc) just don't look like they belong as much.

I'd really like to find a FORD one though. I've been on the lookout for a while now.

They could have just printed blank ones without any logo and used them universally. You'd think FORD would know that, but it seems they have chosen the true FORD way in the end anyways...

(insert something about bean counters here)

You rock! I couldn't justify $40 badge and bought the turbo badge from Amazon. Thanks again!

Just installed my Lincoln cover. I ordered the two studs too, but used a nut/washer leftover from my only other newly purchased vehicle - 1989 Mustang 5.0LX. It really does tidy up the top of the engine!

And I wanted an emblem that looked somewhat OEM to replace the Lincoln badge, and after an extensive search came across a SAAB part!

https://www.esaabparts.com/viewparts.php?searchpart=1&section=3150627

Emblem on Saab cover:

On the Saab the pair of tabs on each end snap into a tube with an internal “lip”:

On my cover I positioned the emblem, pushed it through the foam, then gently squeezed the pair of tabs with a small needle nose while slipping just the correct ID washer over to secure.

I couldn't find a Ford cover for the 2.0 Ecoboost, so I ordered the Lincoln version. I'm in the process of modifying it. This is what I have, so far. Not the best picture, but I'm not done yet.

Please stop putting these on your engines. All they do is trap heat and accelerate plastic aging / wire fatigue. You have harness connectors that will age faster with more heat trapped around them. Engine covers are the dumbest thing manufacturers have put on cars and they should all be sued for using them.
