Got my new metal engine shroud for my 2.0 ecobost maverick xl took about 15 minutes to put on and is removable just sets on 4 balls and gromets. Got from JCR offroad on sale 172.00.free shipping plus tax

I hope that I'm not in trouble but I only shopped an existing photo for color. I was going for orange. The 2.0 Badge was on an earlier image on this thread.

It's for grilling food on top of a hot engine.

I'm just kidding.

Many other Fords with the same 2.0L come with an engine cover. But this was dropped from the Maverick to keep the cost down. The Maverick still has the mounting places for the engine cover so you can add it to dress up your engine. The factory cover makes the engine quieter.

They make them when you order them. Mine was about 3 or 4 weeks but we'll worth the wait

Its called dressing up your engine bay. It does keep dust off all the top of the engine and you can pop it off a clean it. That's easier than trying to clean all the wires and hoses under it.
