Thought y’all might like seeing the engine bay cleaned up a little. I bought the cover available for the Escape 2.0.

Fits great. You will want to buy the additional studs to secure it with but all in it was only about $75.

Details. Any adjusting or was it a perfect fit? How about the hardware, was it included?

How many studs does it need?

Two. If you look on the front of the engine there are two already there. They are formed into a piece that runs the width of the engine.

Now look about middle way of the engine area toward the back and you will see three brass treaded holes. The one on the left (as you look at it from the front of the vehicle) goes on after you have placed the cover into position. It appears to used to secure the cover from loose from the other studs that simply snap into place.

If you look it up on the Ford parts web site, there is a diagram that shows them and it suggests you may need them when checking out. The other option is to go directly to your dealers parts department and use their assistance to make sure you get what you need.

It was totally simple and I think it looks GREAT compared to the uncovered standard.

I see a couple diff stud part #s listed along with the cover. Did you buy one of each (front & rear) or are you saying the truck already has a couple of one version?

Looks great BTW!

Great info. Other than the cover P/N can you list the P/N's of the other required parts needed for installation, Thanks

It has the two front ones right out of the factory. If wasn’t raining and getting dark I’ld take more detailed pics. But take my word for it, if you take a look around the engine you’ll see what you need and how it goes on. Easy Pezzee.

The first thing I said when opening the hood of a Maverick was it looks unfinished and needs a cover. I asked a friend who works for ford he said the 2020 Escape cover should fit. I think in 2021 they stopped putting covers on them. finishes off the engine compartment.
definitely putting one on my Maverick if I ever get it.

Does it make the engine sound different?
Don’t know. I haven’t been out since I put it on. It’s turned off crappy here. Cold, Rain and Windy. 🙁

Sorry I don’t recall. I still had the cover’s bag here so I could shoot it.
