I did some more experimentation in the name of science and found that a water bottle will nudge the wheel just enough to eliminate the "keep hands on wheel" nag. I drove on the highway for 45 miles without having to touch the wheel.
I am probably lazy and should read the owners manual but, when I remote start the truck and depending on the temperature outside, the heated seat and steering wheel will be on when I start the truck. Is this a "feature" or is my truck broken?
