Maybe you read it in one of the multiple threads with facts, speculation, and debate that already exist on this subject?Did I read right(forgot where) that MY 25 lost 12hp.
My understanding is: only if Maverick Job3 and if ordered from a dealer located in a California Emissions State (50-State Emissions System) get the GPF.Only Job 3 will get the filter, until they do that none will loose power.
This is what @fordvideoguy has stated in the past. However, I am not sure if he thinks this true for the Maverick. My understanding is: only if Maverick Job3 and if ordered from a dealer located in a California Emissions State (50-State Emissions System) get the GPF.

The filter is in the exhaust, isn't it? If they measure crank horsepower with no exhaust hooked up, it wouldn't affect the power.Even with the GPF, there are some Ford engineers who now claim no loss in HP...![]()
Yep.. 2025s make less power due to an exhaust filter. More smog crap. Probably means less mpg too. Glad my 23 does not have it.Did I read right(forgot where) that MY 25 lost 12hp.
