Maybe you read it in one of the multiple threads with facts, speculation, and debate that already exist on this subject?

Search the site for "GPF" or "particulate" and you will be caught up.

My understanding is: only if Maverick Job3 and if ordered from a dealer located in a California Emissions State (50-State Emissions System) get the GPF.

This is what @fordvideoguy has stated in the past. However, I am not sure if he thinks this true for the Maverick.

The filter is in the exhaust, isn't it? If they measure crank horsepower with no exhaust hooked up, it wouldn't affect the power.

Yep.. 2025s make less power due to an exhaust filter. More smog crap. Probably means less mpg too. Glad my 23 does not have it.

You might want to read through this topic in other posts. Engineers are reported to have stated no loss in HP with GPF.
