Mine was the APIM module. It is slowing cooking inside. Still waiting for the part to come in. Does your sync update ? Mine is stuck on version 22200

Mine has a smell also,to me more of an electrical burning smell. My Sync system wouldnt update so I asked the dealer to check the APIM. Its the smell as its failing internally .Part has been on order for over a month. Good luck

Yeah,I hate going back to the dealer too. When my APIM comes in I'll ask them again as this vibration is pretty harsh but smooths right out after 15-20 minutes.

Yep regular flat trim piece. 7 pin connector will pop out. Take several measurements and cut to size. I tried heat gun but it didnt come out. A little tight sliding back together but it will go in.

Its the end of the day now and no email from Suma. I checked on thier website and they dont have a phone contact number. Im going to research for some different replacement mirrors.

Thanks David, I was starting to think it was me. I sent them an email early this am and no reply. Sounds like they didnt properly design and test these. Quality looks good but they are of no use to me if they cause faults. Hopefully they can figure it out soon as its been a 3.5 month wait for...
