Below you will find a spreadsheet that consolidates all the FY22 Maverick issues the MTC has found. There are severity and occurrence ratings based on what I believe them to be. Your opinion could be entirely different and that’s ok. I left off the fuel tank and seat belt recalls as they have already been addressed.

I added the excel spreadsheet to google docs where anyone can make edits with the link. The spreadsheet below is linked to google docs and is automatically updated.

Drag the spreadsheet over to see more information. Far right column is the link to the issues if you want to get more information.
If you could add a quantity column to each problem showing how many have experienced the problem so as to gauge the odds that others may see that specific issue.

Maybe posts to this thread from users experiencing the problem could be used to increment the quantity number.

A Solution column should also be added like for the "Radio Freezing" problem because that was fixed with a software update.

A description and link for the fix would be nice so that if others experience the issue they could be directed to the solution: Recall, TSB, Etc

Fix for radio glitches : SSM 50411 - updates ACM and radio firmware

Should the recalls be listed here too?

Some may say the recalls are official and tracked by Ford already, but they are still "issues" and the spreadsheet is an issue compilation.

Maybe I missed it, but should the issue with the fabric seats be documented here? Basically the corner of the seats is not held in place and begins to bunch up/crease after a short period of time.

My Maverick started doing that after about 500 miles on the driver seat.

I've had an issue with my seat where I can feel the springs in the seat pop and shift around when I go over an uneven surface that tosses weight side to side. Not a huge deal on it's own but makes me worry about the longevity of the seats.

Thank you, I haven’t had time to get back to updating it again. Will definitely follow up with some more of the suggestions soon.

Add the factory recall of the Trailer Braking system. I just got the notice from Ford about it.
REPROGRAM INTEGRATED TRAILER RELAY MODULE
This can cause a crash. And the dealerships are still loaded down with the "dealer-installed" options that have been factory installed in the past.

Alright everyone, I got most of the updates made and ran spell check. Recalls are on a second tab now. Let me know what you think.

I think this will be a 400 page thread with all the issues coming up. What happened to that Build Quality Number One. Must be another brand.

Aside from the: various bad sensors, window motors braking, radio not working, trim pieces broke/installed wrong, plastics scratch easily, brake issues, 3 recalls (seat belt, gas tank, trailer brakes), 12V battery dies, random deep sleep 😓, 12+ TSBs, quality control issues, window rattles and cracks easily, transmission issues, shit paint that chips easily, AWD issues, suspension issues, etc, etc… this truck is great! So far Im not too scared to buy the Maverick, but they haven’t given me a warm and fuzzy either.

I’m right there with you. Waiting to get mine but a little worried at the same time. But I figure by the time I get mine they will be in the 3rd generation so most issues will be gone.
