First in first out on orders for builds as complex as the Mav, and with the current supply constraints, would effectively delay the vast majority of all orders (i..e., we'd all be waiting on a few people who aren't removing their bedliners).Absolutely, it isn't logical to me how they do it. I can never understand why they don't do FIFO.
Maybe next year?Pick me, pick me![]()
Sam I can not believe you have not been scheduled yet. I was hoping very soon to see you on your youtube channel doing a review of your truck. PS I like watching your youtube videos on the Ford Maverick.Order June 30th #stillwaiting
Don’t despair! Ive been turned down for a lot of dates. How pathetic I'm olny asking for a date.
at the very least you’re realistic about your Bimmer repair cost. Please pick me, my BMW died Tuesday while driving. I’m hoping it can pull a Lazarus and come back to life even if it costs a fortune (which it will).
I would be happy. If Ford gave me a delivery date should I be happy or ignore it?
I understood it as FIFO for buildable orders, not FIFO for all orders. Like this post said:First in first out on orders for builds as complex as the Mav, and with the current supply constraints, would effectively delay the vast majority of all orders
I picture it as lining up all the orders by order date and picking off the buildable ones as you go down the list.It would be better if Ford just did a FIFO system even if you skip an early order due to constraints
