I wanted to circle back and thank you for sharing this solution, I loved it when you showed yours, I bought the lights immediately but just finally got them put in. (I dare not try it myself…). Came out great !!!
These are all from dead stop to 15 mph in a lot, but overall, nothing you probably don’t already know… ECO mode & the ‘coach’ has my foot so light on the pedal… I tend to hit the gas to 5 mph over where I want to be, coast and resume lightly, electric can maintain my speed more often than not.
Congrats on finally taking delivery, very similar story here, 532 days for me. the good news is the truck is so good, you will forget all of that agony amazingly fast.
Indeed, I ran the gamut from feeling Buried Alive asking myself every 46 Days or so, What’s the Use? but then My Sweet One was built and put Back on the Train, finally delivered and now You Enjoy MyTruck. ;)
PS - we are everywhere. ⭕
Hang in there, OP and all of you.
I haven’t yet seen anyone on the board that waited longer than me (see sig,) I am only about 6 weeks in since taking delivery, and all of the angst has already washed away… the truck is so worth it.
As agonizingly long as it was, and it was, I strangely feel the same way after only 5 weeks now.
@LastDog I did get the Yeti, very cool and appreciated but utterly hilarious and appropriate to close this experience that they send a bottle too wide to get in the Mav’s door holder.
I just got the Car & Play as well, happy with it so far after a few days, setup was easy (good suggestion in the manual to disconnect from the Mav directly before plugging in) and it connects right away when starting up.
Oh no, hope it’s quickly resolved! Just brought mine home after an hour of driving around town and still elated. Noticed a couple of tiny imperfections in my tonneau surface, but everything else is perfect so far.
