Ok, new email Production date updated. If you’re keeping score, original 3/7 then 4/4, then 3/21 and now - drum roll - 3/14. At least it’s in a good direction. Fingers crossed

I almost feel that (some) dealers are trying to make people walk away from their orders judging by that response you got Monica and many others that I have seen. Dealers just throwing bs out there to make people discouraged enough to say, "I want my deposit back". Does anyone else feel the same?

My dealer is awesome. I am in constant contact with my salesman.

My dealership has 460 lol and I'm number 4 according to dealership, still no build date because the game Ford likes to play "allocation" .

I hope you get a build date soon.

And…. How many have they received?

Several, but I honestly don't know. I'll ask next time we talk. My salesman is the fleet manager and only works M-F.

Ordered mine 12/8, Lariat, 2.0 AWD, 4k tow package, CP360, SIBL, Area 51. Received email shortly after with a production date 2/14. 2 weeks ago another email scheduled to build 2/7 and now shows in production. Called my dealer yesterday and he confirmed from the schedule he received from Ford my build started on 2/9. Fingers crossed here in CT.

Just got a new email Friday night from Ford, my Maverick was originally scheduled the week of 4/11, now it's 4/4.

They must have gotten a shipment of chips in!

I just found out that my production week got bumped down from 3/28 to 4/11.

submitted an update form for the tracking spreadsheet.

I recieved on Friday the 11th email 8:05pm that moved my order up one week to the week of April 4th.

Well we were previously scheduled for a build of 2/21 and we got the wrong type of email from Ford - in this batch of email they pushed us back to 2/28 build.

So in reality, getting a "build date" means very little, getting the "finished" email is what we should all be waiting/looking for. Then when the dealer calls to say "ready for pick up" is what counts.

Getting a build date (mine is 2-21) means that the WEEK it is to be built. That doesn't mean it's built on 2-21. Just lower your expectation a few degrees and you will be fine.

Let's just say we get a build date and it does get built, does that actually mean it's built completely or built but could be parked and waiting for say a chip (or whatever) to complete the build? Other words, does getting a your vehicle is built noticed indicate it's ready for shipping which on its own brings up the other issue of delay before receiving it? My ordered XL Hybrid will get to me when it gets to me, ordered on July 23, did have email showing build date week of 02/07, then changed to week of 02/21.

We had an email with a build date of 3/21, then 3/14. Thought we were getting somewhere!! Now got an email yesterday with a build date of 3/28 so we regressed by 2 weeks. I see the Hermosillo plant is open 24/7. Can we call them and say "are you working down there or not??"
