I have gotted a few emails that we have been waiting for. I ordered my hybrid Lariat lux package with co-pilot in Hot Pepper Red on 7/5/21. Received my scheduled for production on 12/2/21, to be built the week of 1/17/22. Then email moving me back to 1/31/22. On 2/8/22, received an email that my truck was built, and today that it is being shipped , and should be delivered to Sarasota Ford the 1st week of March. Things are finally moving on the hybrids.
YEA, also ordered mine from Sarasota Ford, so good to know, Thanks!!!!!!!

Received an email tonight. Vehicle was ordered Aug 7, 2021. Production has been delayed twice. Finally an emailed stating it has been built. Even though the Ford website shows it still in production.

Still crickets for me! No Email or call from my dealer. Another disappointing Thursday. Hey, maybe that should be a song somebody should write. "Disappointing Thursdays"
Great idea!

From what I understood from Tim Bartz live stream installing chips was fairly easy process and Ford didn’t want to hold up production, so they are producing without the chips causing delivery dates after build to get pushed see below from a Facebook post on Maverick group

B8BAD34E-742A-45EC-B518-7C3E8779541F.jpeg
I saw Tim's video but my memory was off. I thought I had seen build dates pushed back to May (in addition to the delivery dates of built trucks waiting on chips like your example). So I found it puzzling Ford would put newly scheduled builds in front of those. However, in going back to the threads I found the build dates I thought were pushed to May were actually moved to the end of March and early April. 🤭 Now it makes sense. 🙂

Finally in the queue!

Hot Pepper Red hybrid XLT, lux pkg, hard tonneau roll up... ordered Aug 10, 2021, build date received Feb 10, 2022. That's 6 months to the day. I'll take that as a W and maybe order some floor mats.

I think I was within the first 5 to order at the dealership. Out of curiosity I asked my salesman how many they had on order.

Good morning Monica

We have approximately 160 orders waiting to be scheduled.

So yea...
I almost feel that (some) dealers are trying to make people walk away from their orders judging by that response you got Monica and many others that I have seen. Dealers just throwing bs out there to make people discouraged enough to say, "I want my deposit back". Does anyone else feel the same?

I didn't go through every post, but from what I could tell it looks like they only scheduled Hybrids this week? Is that correct? I wonder what kind of changeover is needed on the Ford Assy Line to switch from Ecoboost to Hybrid. Can they build both types simultaneously or do they have some changeover time on the line?

No, Ford did not only schedule Hybids this week. My 2.0 EB Lariat was scheduled this week for production the week of April 11th. The Ford Assembly Plant assembles trucks with Hybrid and Eco-Boost engines on the same line without any changeover. It's all a function of which orders are scheduled and in what sequence as to whether the vehicle gets a hybrid engine or an EB engine installed.

Yep that that after Oct when dealer kept blowing me off. I’m calling Ford Monday as my dealer has my exact supposed to be in stock with a vin. Tried calling and they said already sold but can order me a 03. Something just not right

I also ordered mine from Kissimmee. It's like pulling teeth to get any information out of them. Have you heard anything from them about their allocations or anything?
Nothing salesman never in and won’t return calls mine is “Robbie”

Yeah. This is getting frustrating. I ordered mine June 15th and received confirmation the same day. I've been at priority code 2 for several months. Seeing all these posts with people getting build dates for the exact same build as be, who ordered after me is so frustrating.
Same here. Don’t add up

My dealership has 460 lol and I'm number 4 according to dealership, still no build date because the game Ford likes to play "allocation" .

Window Sticker (forddirect.com) Ordered 11 OCT. Panama City Beach, Autonation. XL Carbonized Gray w/no options (less risk of delays) . I ordered OEM mud guards via Amazon. In production but no idea when it rolls off the hauler. I have no idea about anything at this point however this email I received yesterday was a pleasant surprise! Light at the end of this tunnel? SPLAT!

The build notification is when Ford plans to start your build. You should get another email for in production and another email when finished. If you are stuck in "In Production" purgatory, it means your truck is most likely complete and sitting outside in the lot waiting on chips.
Purgatory is not hearing a thing from Ford for six months and realizing that a Summer delivery is now almost a given.
