The average price of a new car in 2021 was $47,000. Sadly, $30,000 is a cheap car. We may not like to think in those terms, but that's where we are today.

Crazy how guys from December are getting build emails before guys with same builds from Sept and October. I ordered Dec 16th and don't expect one for a month.

Yes his 2500 hybrids a month is a low estimate, not sure how many will be built in Jan./Feb. , but i remember seeing that Ford is going to build 3500 hybrids in March, and who knows what the # for April will be it could go up.
March is 3500 hybrids vs 2000 EB and April is 3600 hybrids vs 2400 EB.

I'm thinking that maybe I should watch Willy Wonka to get some tips from Charlie on how to properly open that chocolate bar. Maybe that will help me get a production email. If not, at least I can enjoy a delicious chocolate bar vicariously through...oh who am I kidding. No joy for me. :-( I am just hoping to get my truck sometime before hell freezes over. I think I have a real shot at that!

All in fun. I am very patient and am not in desperate need of a new truck yet. And I am very much enjoying reading and participating on these forums.

Also a June 14th order holder, confirmed a minute or two after placing the order. No schedule email today either. At this point it will be 9 months (like a human child) by the time it is delivered now in March/April - assuming I get scheduled next week. It will be absolutely ridiculous if it ends up taking a full year from ordering to delivery.
The way it's going, I'm not counting on seeing my 7/7 order till 7/7/22 or later....

Ah yes... after a relaxing holiday break, it is finally time to embrace the disappointment yet again. I've been waiting for this....
received from Ford my Lariat hybrid on 12/22 in Production, as of 1-13 still shows in production. When checking on web site its showing that expected delivery 1-26. Can't comprehend what is going on

I think it's pretty clear that when you get scheduled is coming down to where you ordered from. It's the dealers allocation that determines if you get scheduled.

This has to change if Ford wants to do more direct sales. It shouldn't matter the store I bought the truck from. Honestly, just let me order it on a web site and have a couple of models for test drives at some showroom at the mall. ( We need to do something with all the closed Sears stores )

There should only be service at the dealers. I think they would agree that is where the money is anyway.

IMHO, If a business needs a law in place protecting them to stay in business, then they really serve no purpose.

I wonder if the priority number is the problem here? at this point June and July they should be done by now!

I mean what else can be? no hybrid engines?
