  1. ⚠️ 2023 MAVERICK BUILD & PRICE SITE IS UP‼️ Share Your Build Here

What's the point of updating the web site at all? You can't order one so there is no reason to build one and dream about it for a couple of years.
  2. What’s new: changes for 2023 Maverick

The headrests are safest for rear impacts when they are closer to your head. You should technically have them tilted as close to the back of your head as possible. They are not a rest for your head but rather a piece of safety equipment.
  3. First in Line for 2023, I guess.

2023 model year orders open in August 2022. Nothing to do until then. Even then, you won't be first inline since the unbuilt 2022 MY orders will need to be built first.
  4. Does the Lariat Luxury package have wireless Apple CarPlay?

I have been using the cplay2air adapter since October with great success for this. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/cplay2air-wireless-carplay-adapter-confirmed-to-work-in-maverick.3368/page-2#post-73576
  5. Does the Lariat Luxury package have wireless Apple CarPlay?

It does not but you can buy an adapter that plugs into the USB that will allow wireless carplay just fine.
  6. Body color matched painted steelies - 👍 or 👎 ?

    (n) Looks like he got a paint job at Maaco
  7. Nudge Bar From Bronco Sport?

I believe the frame is different without the fx4 package. Without that, the tow hooks can't be easily mounted and thus, I believe, this will only work on fx4 optioned Mavericks. If that is fact where this mounts on the truck.
  8. Entertaining article: Sick of crossovers? Ford’s Maverick is the pickup truck you never knew you wanted

@Ford Motor Company "Just do it" @Ford Motor Company The time is now! Don't be scared
  9. Couldn’t wait anymore… Got an XL from dealer stock.

Times change. Good luck with that idea going forward. No one is homo-economicus and makes perfectly rational purchasing decisions. It's just a trunk.
  10. New Vehicle Glow Wears off Fast.

Meh. It's just a car/trunk. A cheap one at that. Doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Use it for what it's intended for. Take care of it enough so that it's works as expected and move on. There will be another one soon enough. Most don't keep a car more than 4-5 years anyway. There...
  11. Do you like the FX4 Logo? (POLL)

Facepalm! The Maverick is in no way an off road vehicle and putting tires and skid plates on it isn't going to make it any more capable. Heck, the FX4 package doesn't include a limited slip. I personally don't want to go advertise about the "off road" capabilities that are just vaporware. The...
  12. Anyone like the dial shifter?

Why don't you just look at the gauge cluster and see what gear you're in? You don't have to look down at all.
  13. Printed Owners Manual

Yes. It comes with a manual but it's printed very cheaply on news print like paper and not in color. Personally, I like having the online version so that I can search for what I'm looking for. There is so much legally required warnings in there it makes for a terrible reading experience. The...
  14. Latest 2022 Ford Maverick Order Guide - U.S. & Canada

Yup. that's exactly it. It's the same CarPlay with the cable but I can keep the phone in my pocket or on the charging pad.
  15. TPMS19

Thanks. I already have the sensors from the take off steel wheels from another Maverick. I assume they won't just program themselves to my truck, or will they? Does anyone know, of have a link, to how to program the TPMS on the Maverick?
  16. TPMS19

Does anyone know if the Ford TPMS19 tool is required to train new TPMS sensors in the Maverick? Thanks
  17. CPLAY2AIR Wireless CarPlay Adapter confirmed to work in Maverick

Do you at least see the adapter screen show up when you plug it in? IIRC it was pretty easy, I disconnected all bluetooth and wifi connections. Then I selected the search button on the screen and then selected pair on my phone and that was it. They have a page where you can send a message to...
  18. Bed covers… So confusing!

Yes, I have the tailgate seal installed. I just flipped open the cover and drove around and it dried rather quickly. I just make sure not have anything in the bed when I got to get the salt and grime washed off.
  19. Bed covers… So confusing!

It's actually really good with keeping out the water. I went to a touchless car wash yesterday with it on and there was only a small amount of wetness near the tailgate. No puddles. Otherwise, with normal rain, I have not seen any water in the bed.
