TP SHORTAGE Un believable but true about 3 months prior to covid we ran out so at Costco I bought 2 30 roll bales. Two weeks later was in Costco and forgot about them and bought two more! Wife shows up with another 30 roll bale she purchased while she was there. Even after giving a couple rolls away here and there we had plenty. Reminds me of the auction I went to and bought 7 cases of 1lb Folgers coffee cans for about $0.60/can. Seventh case got covered up in garage and I couldn't find it. Turned up during coffee shortage around 1980 when coffee was $3-$5/ lb = YAY!

So mid-2019, F was down around $10/share, plus that fat dividend. Looked like a great holding to me, bought a bunch (not 5mil like you). Come 2020, Covid hit, dropped down into the $4's, then the dividend was eliminated.

Took some time to get my money back out of it,,,,,,

I did great on buying Ford when I ordered my first maverick in August 2021 around 12.75/sh which I sold when it popped to about $23/sh in December. I recently bought Wolfspeed for $7.70/sh in Sept. Is currently trading over $16/sh. They make silicon carbide based devices and are opening plants in USA and Germany. The pop was caused by qualifying for Fed Grant plus tax benefits plus two $750 mill investors. Not making money yet! Company was the silicon carbide solely owned subsidiary retained when led light manufacturing CREE Was sold. Their silicon carbide mosfets can switch higher currents with over 15% better efficiency and can be stacked to switch grid size currents. I expect big demand for products. Bosch has paid millions to reserve production. Am not sure but expect their mosfet to eliminate the relay noise in our Mavs when used. They have zero voltage across contacts when switching. They also sold their RFID subsidiary. Their SiC plant can make 200mm wafer, largest size in world in Marcy NY.

I got points and 3/4 tank of gas with each of the two Mavericks that I purchased. I wonder what I will get with my '25 XLT. Likely, more of the same.
Even when I had a Mini, I got three years of complementary maintenance.

Is that for 2025 models? I just finally figured out how to get my purchase points today. I didn't receive my 2024 XLT until 10/28, and I got 42K points today (I ordered it back on 2/29, but they asked for the purchase date, not the order date when I applied for the points).
